The recent earthquake in Saranngani and other parts of Southern Mindanao affected many families and communities. In times like this, it's normal to ask questions and feel uncertain about what will happen next.
One thing we realized is that even if we cannot solve everything we can still do something to help.
Through the generosity of Kuwait Kalasag Eagles Club, our partner organizations, donors and in collaboration with UPV DOSE, we were able to bring relief goods to families affected by the earthquake. It may not be enough to replace what they lost, but we hope it brought a little comfort and reminded them that they are not alone.
This experiences reminded us that helping others does not always require something big. Sometimes, a simple act of kindness, a donation or even giving your time can make a difference in someone's life.
Thank you to all the donors volunteers and organizations who become part of this effort. Your support helped bring hope to communities during a difficult time.
Earthquakes may damage homes and buildings, but they can never break the spirit of people who care for one another.
