CAMPUS ADMINISTRATOR IN ACTION: ISAT U MC PUSHES FOR SAFER AND MORE ACCESSIBLE COMMUTING SPACE
Demonstrating proactive leadership and genuine concern for the welfare of students and employees, Dr. Ramon N. Emmanuel, Jr. spearheaded dialogues with Mayor Oscar "Richard" Garin, Jr. and representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways regarding the possible widening of the space in front of ISAT U Miagao Campus.
The initiative aims to provide a safer, more accessible, and more convenient loading and unloading area for the riding public, particularly the thousands of students and employees of ISAT U MC who travel daily to and from the campus.
At present, many commuters are forced to walk a considerable distance just to reach the motorcycle terminal, posing inconvenience and safety concerns especially during peak hours and unfavorable weather conditions. Through this initiative, the Campus Administrator hopes to improve accessibility and strengthen the overall commuting experience of the community.
The dialogue reflects the commitment of ISAT U MC leadership in pursuing responsive and people-centered solutions through collaboration with local government units and national agencies.
Indeed, leadership in action goes beyond the campus walls, it listens, initiates, and acts for the welfare of the community.
