Do you love cramming and pulling all-nighters to study before the exam? Studies show that it is very detrimental in your memory encoding process. Highlighting and rereading a book doesn't improve your understanding on the lesson. Flashcards are proven to be excellent in reinforcing your memory. Also, study so you can teach it to other people, not study just to pass the test. This helps your brain to better organize the infos you have studied on.

Why do people cheat on their significant others? Hmmm.
Hello there, Psychers! Have you been cheated upon by your partners before? Science has explanation on why people engage in cheating activities! Only 3% of mammals practice monogamous partnership, and that includes humans. However, as part of the animal kingdom, we are still prone to polygamy like the remaining 97% of mammals. This might be caused by genetic reason, specifically the alleles on one's DNA; or by the low level of a certain neurotransmitter on our brain called Vasopressin; or other environmental influences (i.e. Money). It may also be because of our past experiences of heartbreaks and alcohol.

"The researchers found that older women who forgave others were less likely to be depressed. And, that was true even if they felt unforgiven by others. However, men who forgave others, but also felt unforgiven had the highest levels of depression, the study revealed" (HealthDay, 2015).
