In celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the PCCM Flair Tappers successfully conducted the Healthy Beverage Cup Competition last July 27, 2026, at the PCCM Main Campus.

The event brought together talented BSHM students who showcased their creativity, teamwork, and hospitality skills by preparing innovative and healthy beverages. From the opening of the competition, beverage preparation, presentations, judging, and awarding of winners, every moment reflected the participants' passion, dedication, and commitment to promoting healthier beverage choices.

In preparation for the 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 this coming July 27, 2026, the PCCM Flair Tappers Officers successfully conducted their July Monthly Meeting at the Bar Room, PCCM Main Campus.

During the meeting, important matters regarding the club and the upcoming event were discussed, including the club's financial contributions for future activities, the officers' pledge of commitment, and the delegation of roles and responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of the competition.

Following the meeting, the officers participated in a short bartending skills session facilitated by our club adviser, where they observed a demonstration and had the opportunity to practice their bartending techniques.

Thank you to all our officers for your dedication, active participation, and commitment. Together, let us continue working towards a successful and meaningful first activity for Academic Year 2026–2027! 🥂✨

The PCCM Orientation 2026 for the 1st Year Students of different programs under the Polytechnic College of the City of Meycauayan was held yesterday at the City of Meycauayan Convention Center. Part of the event was the ACSO Orientation, which introduced the students to the different accredited clubs and organizations of the institution.
One of the organizations introduced was PCCM Flair Tappers, the official hospitality-based club dedicated to enhancing students’ skills, creativity, and passion in beverage service, bartending, and flair performance.

ɪɴɴᴏᴠᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ, ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ, ᴀɴᴅ ʜᴇᴀʟᴛʜʏ ʙᴇᴠᴇʀᴀɢᴇ ᴄʜᴀʟʟᴇɴɢᴇ

In celebration of Nutrition Month, the PCCM Flair Tappers proudly presents “The Healthy Beverage Cup Competition” — a competition that promotes creativity, innovation, and awareness in preparing healthier beverage choices. This competition is open to all year levels of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students of Polytechnic College of the City of Meycauayan (PCCM).

MECHANICS:
1. The competition is open to all BSHM students and shall be participated by pair (2 members per team).
2. Each team must create and present an innovative, creative, and healthy beverage that promotes proper nutrition and wellness.
3. Participants must provide their own ingredients with a maximum budget of ₱300.00 per pair. Ingredients with a lower cost are also encouraged and acceptable.
4. Each team must prepare their beverage concept and ensure that their creation reflects the theme of Nutrition Month and healthy beverage innovation.
5. Participants must prepare a short presentation explaining:
▪ Name and concept of the beverage
▪ Ingredients used
▪ Nutritional value and health benefits of the beverage
▪ Reason why their beverage is considered a healthy choice
6. Each team will be evaluated by three (3) judges based on the following criteria:
• Creativity and Innovation 25%
• Health Value and Nutritional Concept 25%
• Taste and Beverage Quality 20%
• Presentation and Explanation 15%
• Appearance and Garnishing 10%
• Cost Efficiency and Practicality 5%
7. The organizer and club adviser will guide participants regarding the available tools and equipment needed for the competition. Participants may borrow tools from the HMP Stockroom following the proper borrowing procedures.
8. Participants may bring their own tools and equipment; however, bringing of sharp tools is not allowed for safety purposes.
9. Participants must maintain proper sanitation, cleanliness, and safety practices during the preparation and presentation of their beverage.
10. All participants are responsible for preparing, arranging, and cleaning their assigned area after the competition.
