Applications for the Book Institute of the Philippines (BIP) Fellowship Training Program are now open!

This five-day capacity-building program is designed to equip aspiring book publishing professionals with foundational knowledge and practical insights into the contemporary trade publishing ecosystem—from editorial and production, rights and licensing, to marketing, sales, and reader engagement.

The BIP Fellowship Training Program is all-expense-paid, with training fees, meals, and accommodation fully covered for all selected fellows.

Applications are open today until 4 September 2026. The BIP Fellowship Training Program will be held face-to-face at the NBDB Office from 28 September - 02 October 2026 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan — The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is strengthening its efforts to develop young Filipinos as future leaders and active partners in nation-building, emphasizing that leadership and Filipino identity should remain strong even as young people increasingly pursue opportunities abroad.

The CFO reaffirmed its commitment to youth leadership during the Yugto: Bulacan Coalition Youth Leadership Summit at Camp Tecson in San Miguel, where Atty. Jhade Quiamco represented the CFO as a panel speaker and introduced the agency's mandate and programs to youth leaders and development advocates.

Quiamco urged participants to practice responsible and ethical leadership, particularly in an increasingly digital environment where artificial intelligence is becoming more influential in learning, communication and decision-making.
