With the advancement of technology, e-learning has grown in popularity as teachers take advantage of the opportunities that online learning has to offer. There are two main ways that students can engage in learning online: through asynchronous and synchronous learning.

Asynchronous learning refers to learning that happens in it’s own time and place, as opposed to alongside other people in a live online environment. For example, a student studying class materials at home without having real-time contact with a teacher or other students would be engaging in asynchronous learning. Q-1-W-6-Day 4 (Sept.5-2024)

Teaching is consistently among the top three most stressful professions according to a respected academic who has studied well-being in 80 occupations. This is based upon the pressures put on teachers, heavy workload and lack of government support. Amazingly, even with all this, our teachers have devoted and dedicated their lives to our children!

Times are changing. A lot of the rules in our society, that were once very rigid, are now something that we hardly pay heed to. But while some rules and regulations, on what might be considered as good behavior, are absolete now; there still exists a bunch of unspoken ones that one needs to adhere to.

There are rules that have a lot to do with commitment, gratitude, privacy and general courtesy.
