DAY 2: Empowering Minds & Building Resilience!

Our journey toward excellence continues! Today’s In-Service Training (INSET) was packed with valuable insights and heartfelt discussions focused on nurturing both our learners and our dedicated educators.

Here’s a glimpse into today’s impactful sessions:

Session 3: Creating a Thriving and Supportive School Environment
We were honored to have Ma'am Cindy D. Oliva, PhD, share her expertise on the vital role of emotional safety, physical comfort, and positive relationships in our school. We explored how a healthy culture helps us attain better teaching and learning experiences for everyone.

Session 4: The Resilient Educator: Navigating Stress for a Healthier Classroom
Mr. Ramil A. Bautista led an empowering session on building resilience. We learned that while stress is inevitable, we can master it using the 4As: Avoid, Alter, Adapt, and Accept. A well-supported and rested teacher is the heartbeat of a healthy classroom!

We are walking away today with refreshed minds and a shared commitment to building a more supportive, resilient school community.

INSET DAY 1: A day of reflection and renewal. ✨

Today’s sessions provided a powerful space for us to reflect spiritually and emotionally. The teachers of Meycauayan National High School explored how validating our current moods and taking time for physical and mental resets allows us to perform at our best for our learners.

Thank you to our insightful speakers, Sir Jesher Edrei P. Perez and Ma'am Macy E. Fresnoza, for reminding us that returning to wholeness is the key to moving forward.

The Circle of Gratitude

The Polytechnic College of the City of Meycauayan’s Teaching Education Program held its Appreciation Ceremony for the 4th Year Practice Teachers today at the Meycauayan Convention Center, with the theme “The Circle of Gratitude.”

This meaningful occasion, attended by principals of cooperating public and private schools led by SDS Merlina P. Cruz, PhD, celebrated the dedication and perseverance of Practice Teachers from across subject departments.

At Meycauayan National High School, 8 Practice Teachers successfully completed their internship — a significant milestone in their teaching journey. Among them, Ma’am Ysheen I. Salvador was recognized as Best Demonstration Teacher in English, guided by her Cooperating Teacher, Mrs. Christina C. Guevarra, Master Teacher I.

The ceremony also honored the support of mentors and leaders, with Sir Genaro V. Relente presenting certificates of appreciation and receiving one on behalf of Meycauayan NHS from PCCM Officials headed by Dean Riza Sta. Ana and SDS Merlina P. Cruz, PhD.

Anchored on “The Circle of Gratitude,” this celebration reminds us that every achievement is made possible through the guidance of mentors, the encouragement of institutions, and the determination of Practice Teachers themselves. It is a circle that continues to grow, inspiring future educators to carry forward the values of gratitude, service, and excellence.

Your Meycauayan National High School Family congratulates all our Practice Teachers and is truly proud of your accomplishments. May you continue to shape minds, touch lives, and fulfill the noble mission of teaching with passion and purpose.
