Exploring innovations with the future innovators! 🦾💡
Ready, prepare, and aim high together with the Science Enthusiast as they sharpen their skills and expand their knowledge through a symposium with a theme Science Exploration: A Guide to Investigatory Projects & Empowering Innovators; The symposium of Science Investigatory Projects.🦾✨ 💡
To our School Principal, Sir Genero V. Relente We are very grateful for the never ending support to this science enthusiast!🙌
Also, To the speakers of this symposium Thank you sir Mark Lennon M. Bautista and Ma'am Irish Mae Q. Dela Cruz for sharing and teaching us your expertise and knowledge. For sure, these future innovators learned a lot!😊🙌🦾
Lastly, To Ma'am Pearl S. Rabe Science Coordinator of Elementary Department & Ma'am Princess Zacate Science Coordinator of Junior Highschool Department and to MIS Science Teachers of Elementary and Junior High School Department. “Dimming the lights, illuminating our commitment to a sustainable planet.”
Good day, Maharlikans!
In March 23, 2024, we are encouraging everyone to turn off unessential lights from 8:30–9:30 PM.
Earth Hour, organized by WWF, is a global grassroots movement uniting people to take action on environmental issues and protect the planet.
Once a year, its aim is to encourage the world to turn off all non-essential electric lights for an hour.
The task is simple: to dim your bulbs between 8:30pm and 9:30pm to mark your commitment to the planet.
Earth Hour serves as a reminder that small individual actions, when taken collectively, can have a significant impact on the environment. It is a way for people to show their commitment to creating a more sustainable future for our planet, and to encourage governments and businesses to take action on climate change.
Fun fact: more than 385,000 people across 175 countries will be taking part.

IN ACTION: Students from Grade 9 Newton✨
The restroom is a place where we can take care of our personal hygiene duties, we use the restroom as our private space to take care of ourselves and sanitize.💦🧻
Public Bathrooms are no different.
The sanitation and hygiene of one’s actions reflect to others, Why do we need to clean our public restrooms after use? We are not the only ones living in this environment. We can help each other by keeping our building clean!🪠🧼🧹
Our Clean Public Toilet Project is not just all about cleanliness--- It is also a symbol of bright and strong future that we're building Together🙌🤝
We can start off with ourselves. Taking good supervision on our own hygiene and taking responsibility of our own messes.

Did you know⁉️⁉️
That the HQ of an organization is the centre or building from which it's operations are directed.
But, did you also know that we have our own HQ😯😯
Take a Look; MIS_SC & YES-O officers joined forces to glam and tidy up our own Headquarters!😉🧹🪄
Glow up who? stay tune for the final touches, and announcements. This is not your ordinary HQ's😉😉

“Telescopes are windows to the universe, revealing the wonders of celestial objects millions of light-years away.”
🧑🔬 Did you know that we also have the telescope in our Sci Lab?
🔭 Telescope — A device used to observe distant objects by their emission, absorption, reflection, and electromagnetic radiation. And it is also the most important investigative tool in astronomy!
Most telescopes, yet, all large telescopes, work by using curved mirrors to gather and focus light from the night sky.
🌌 Most of the light from these distant objects is too dim for the human eye to see, so astronomers use telescopes to collect that light. Telescopes can collect much more light than the human eye, and they can also detect the wavelengths of light the human eye cannot!
How amazing! (≧∇≦)/

🦴 Fossils, with a direct meaning as “evidence” for us to be able to be awakened by Earth’s evolution.
With this being said, the factor of us– the human-beings, with the guidance of our Scientists continue to study the deepest branches of gathering knowledge with fossils, it helps us to understand the geological changes happening in our world. 🤯🧠
🦕 There are four types of Fossils;
• Body Fossils or True form Fossils - refers to the plant/animal remains.
• Trace Fossils – Evidence left by animals and plants; These fossil form when an organism leaves a mark on soft rock or mud.
• Mold Fossils – hollow impressions left by a plant or animal. The surrounding mud and sediment hardens around the dead organism and only an imprint of it remains after decomposition.
• Cast Fossil – a byproduct of a mold fossil. when sediment fills in a hollow mold fossil, a cast fossil forms. The cast is a natural occurring replica of the actual organism.
👩🔬 Scientists use fossils to gather information about the lives and evolutionary relationships of organisms, for understanding geological change and even for locating fossil fuel reserves.
👨🔬 Paleontology is the study of prehistoric life, primarily conducted through the analysis of fossils. By studying the preserved remains of creatures and plants that lived millions of years ago, scientists can glean valuable information about the origin and evolution of life on this planet.

New Fun Fact of the Day!🤩
Did you know that there are 2 types of rocks?
the IGNEOUS rock🪨 and the INTRUSIVE rock.🪨
what may differ between the two?🤔
🪨 IGNEOUS rocks are mostly used when crafting buildings
while
🪨 INTRUSIVE rocks are used when making gravestones and countertops (usually marble)
🌋These rocks are formed when MAGMA is cooled down. 🥶

Today, two Grade 9 students displayed an act of kindness, showing a good example of what a good samaritan is. We thank our dear Maharlikans, Irish Raynog of Grade 9, Section Galilei & Michaella Pineda of Grade 9, Section Einstein for showing their compassion and goodwill.
🌷The Grade 9 students have found a mislaid cellphone, currently missing its' original owner, handed it to our supervisor and adviser, Ma'am Princess Zacate.
‼️To the owner of the cellphone, you may claim it to your teacher Ma’am Princess Zacate. Your cellphone is now in good hands thanks to our good samaritans.
Kudos Grade 9!💕
