Did you know that Mount Arayat is an extinct stratovolcano believed to be the home of the mythical diwata Mariang Sinukuan?
According to folklore, she was a powerful enchantress who protected the forests and taught early settlers how to farm. Though the mountain hasn’t erupted in thousands of years, its presence continues to shape Pampanga’s culture, history, and natural beauty.

The Sierra Madre Mountain Range, known as the “Backbone of Luzon,” is our natural protector — stretching over 500 kilometers from Cagayan to Quezon. It guards us from strong typhoons, gives life through freshwater, and shelters rare creatures like the Philippine Eagle and Cloud Rat. 🦅🌱

Influenza, or the flu, is a contagious respiratory viral infection with symptoms like fever, cough, and body aches. It spreads through airborne droplets or by touching contaminated surfaces and can range from mild to severe, sometimes leading to serious complications like pneumonia. The best prevention is getting an annual flu vaccine, home, resting, and drinking plenty of fluids can help with recovery.
