Every year, over 700,000 lives are lost to su***de globally, leaving profound emotional, social, and economic impacts on communities everywhere. It's time to break the silence.

For World Su***de Prevention Day 2024-2026, the theme is "Changing the Narrative on Su***de" with the powerful call to action: "Start the Conversation". Let's move away from stigma and fear, and create spaces of understanding, support, and hope.

The SSLG stands as one of the advocates for making the mental health of students a priority. Together, we aim to foster a safe environment where talking about mental health is welcomed, and seeking help is a sign of strength. 💬💙

Let’s make a change—one conversation at a time.

The English Club & Math Club, led by their dedicated advisers Mr. Marvin Lagundo & Ms. Theresa Mae Basa, proudly took charge of the Flag Ceremony at Mexico National High School. As we raised our flag, we were reminded of the importance of patriotism and our love for the country—a value that unites and strengthens us as a school community.

A special moment of the ceremony was the awarding of the 'Mabuting Tao' honors, recognizing students who demonstrated integrity and honesty by returning lost money and items. Their actions inspire us all to do what’s right, even when no one is watching. 🌟

We also celebrated the winners of the Cleanest Classroom Challenge! 🏆 These students have set a shining example of how maintaining cleanliness, both inside and outside the classroom, makes our school a better place for everyone. Let's keep up the good work and stay motivated!

Together, let's continue to embody the spirit of integrity, patriotism, and excellence at MNHS! 💚
