We may spend our days learning how to speak through movement, silence, and stories. Yet beyond every role we portray and every story we bring to life, we are reminded that there is a greater story being written. A story that calls us to love, to listen, and to walk with one another.

Todayโ€™s Gospel reminds us that love sometimes asks us to speak and not to condemn, but to correct with patience. Not to tear one another down, but to help each other find our way back. May we carry this beyond the stage: choosing understanding over judgment, truth spoken with love, and a community where no one is left to journey alone.

Our story is all about a college student having a crush on someone who was already taken before realizing her own person was right around the corner, the piece captured all the messy, hopeful feelings of starting fresh. The room was full of cheers and as our new Louisians settled into campus life.

The celebration began with an energetic showcase from the SLC Samtoy Dance Troupe, Saint Louis College Chorale, and SLC Marching Band, setting the stage for a lively and memorable welcome. In the afternoon, the SLC Louisian Theatre Ensemble captivated the audience with powerful dance drama performance, completing a vibrant celebration of dance, music, and theatre.

A new academic year means new classes, new challenges, new memories and possibly a few unexpected plot twists along the way. College isnโ€™t always going to be easy, but every challenge is part of the journey and every small win is worth celebrating.
