During the 6.9 earthquake, our school building sustained a significant structural and non- structural damage. Cracks appeared along the walls and ceilings in several classrooms and some walls partially collapsed. The roofs were damaged causing leaks and raising concerns about its stability. The school multi-purpose covered court were severely damaged and based on the assessment of Engineers, this should be demolished as soonest as possible so that it will not cause any other harm from the other existing classrooms annexed to it.
Due to the extent damage, the school was declared unsafe for immediate use and temporarily closed. So, teachers shifted to different Alternative Delivery Mode or ADM, for the continuity learnings of our school children. Keep safe everyone!

📢 OFFICIAL NOTICE TO ALL EVACUEES
It has come to our knowledge that someone is connecting electricity in Home Economics Building of LNES without permission, lets observe proper protocol since our school is not safe because of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake, the classrooms were not properly checked/assessed by authorities if the electrical wirings are safety and may cause fire or any harm to the surroundings and school premises.

⚠️Unauthorized Use of School Electricity Is Strictly Prohibited and Punishable by Law

To all evacuees currently sheltering within the school premises:

Please be informed that the use of the school’s electricity without proper written authorization from the School Head and Local Government Unit (LGU) is strictly prohibited.

⚠️ Unauthorized connection or tampering with electrical lines or outlets may result in:
👉Overloading and possible fire hazards
👉Damage to government property
👉Disruption of school operations

đź“ŤCriminal, civil, or administrative liability
đź“Ś Legal Consequences:
Individuals found illegally tapping or using electricity from the school may be held liable under the following laws:
đź“Ť RELEVANT LAWS & SANCTIONS:
đź“ŤAnti-Pilferage of Electricity and Theft of Electric Power Transmission Lines/Materials Act of 1994(Republic Act No. 7832)
Punishes unauthorized use of electricity, tampering, or tapping into lines.
👉Penalty: Imprisonment of 6 months to 2 years, and/or fines depending on the amount of electricity stolen.
📍Revised Penal Code (Article 308 – Theft)
Taking or using property without consent is theft, including government-owned resources like electricity.
đź“ŤAdministrative Sanctions (For government personnel involved)
đź“ŤIf any DepEd or LGU personnel are found enabling or allowing this without authority, they may face administrative sanctions under COA and CSC rules.

âś… What You Should Do:
👉DO NOT connect to any school electrical outlets or equipment unless expressly permitted.
👉All requests for electricity use must be coordinated through the School Head and LGU.
👉Violators will be reported to the authorities for appropriate legal action.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2025

Lamintak Norte Elementary School is pleased to announce the official schedule of Brigada Eskwela for the School Year 2025-2026 with the theme “Sama-sama para sa bayang bumabasa”! 📚✏️

To kick off our Brigada Eskwela, we will have a Kick-Off Program on June 9, 2025, Monday at 7:00 AM. We invite all parents, guardians, community members, stakeholders, and volunteers to join us as we clean, repair, and prepare our school for the upcoming school year. Together, let’s create a safe, clean, and child-friendly learning environment for our students.

Date: June 9-14, 2025
Please bring: Cleaning tools (broom, dustpan, mop, trash bags, rags, etc.), paint, or any materials you can donate.
