Thank you mam Charisse L. Martin and the RHU Mayoyao for visiting our humble school and conducting the Mental Health Awareness session, Anti-Bullying discussion and, HEADSSS assessment for our learners. Your valuable time and knowledge have greatly contributed to raising awareness about mental health, promoting kindness and respect among students and understanding the needs and well being of our learners.

Your initiative serves as a reminder that every child's emotional, social and mental well being is just as important as academic achievement. Thank you for your unwavering services and for being our partners in nurturing a safe, caring and learner-friendly school environment.

Thank you also PNP Mt. Polis,despite the distance you still visited our school and provided free haircut to our learners.

As promised, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Virgina C. Amogan-Batan, together with the personnel of SDO-Ifugao, returned to Magatawa Elementary School Main and Extension Schools bearing gifts for the learners and the school itself.

This heartfelt gesture is a reminder that no matter how far or remote the school maybe ,its learners and teachers are cared for, valued and never forgotten.

The S.Y. 2026-2027 Brigada Kick-Off of Mayoyao District officially commenced on May 29,2026 at Magatawa ES Extension (Tulpu-an),soon to be Tulpu-an Elementary School. Simultaneously,the Ceremonial Groundbreaking for the construction of a temporary one-classroom building was conducted at the newly proposed school site generously donated by Ma'am Maribeth Liwang.
The Kick-Off Program and Ceremonial Groundbreaking were graced by the OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Ma'am Virginia C. Amogan-Batan, the CID Chief Ma'am Evangeline Dulnuan,the SGOD Chief Ma'am Jacqueline Lunag, Mayor Jimmy Padchanan Jr, Vice Mayor Rudy Chilagan Jr., together with the full force of the school heads of Mayoyao District headed by Ma'am Isabel Chug-e, District Supervisor,PNP personnel,as well as the Brgy. Officials of Nattum.

LOOK: In response to the proposed opening of Magatawa ES extension at Sitio Tupok, the BLGU of Nattum demonstrated a commendable unity and commitment to education by procuring GI sheets and some residents donated lumber for the construction of a makeshift classroom.
Thanks to the active involvement of stakeholders and the dedication of community members, a Temporary Learning Space has been successfully constructed. This newly constructed classroom will now serve as an extension of Magatawa ES, helping address the growing need for an accessible and conducive learning environment in the area.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to our Schools Division Superintendent, Ma'am Gloria B. Buya-ao, for responding to the appeal of the parents in the community. With the opening of this extension class, children will no longer have to cross a large river daily just to reach the nearest school --- bringing safety, convenience, and hope closer to home.

Magatawa ES was honored to be the first school visited by the Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) Monitoring Team from the Division Office on the opening day of classes.The team brought with them school supplies generously donated by Makati City government,which were gratefully received and distributed to the learners.
Moreover,Ma'am Mercedes formally turned over a donation of 10,000 PHP from the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA).This financial assistance aimed to start a possible extension of the 3x4 makeshift classroom currently serving Grades 5 and 6 learners.
On behalf of the parents,learners,stakeholders and the entire school staff,we sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to Ma'am Joyce Karen Dulnuan, Ma'am Lourdes Bilowan, Ma'am Mercedes Tayaban, and Ma'am Delleah Tagayo for choosing our humble school.Special thanks also go to sir Onil for skillfully navigating the road to ensure the team's safe arrival.
