Grade 12 ABM and HUMSS Team won in the Radio Broadcasting Simulation held this afternoon at MNHS Covered Court.

The group was composed of Rakem Jhon Aberia, Pinky Rose Deraya, Novie Angelie Buenafe, Alexis Lobina, John Mark Lira, Afrian Petiza, Emmanuel Pomarca, and John Brendan Maunes.

Special Awards were also given to the students who stood out during their performance: Rakem Jhon Aberia, Best Male Anchor; Pinky Rose Deraya, Best Female Anchor; Grade 11 (Andrei Desoloc), Best Infomercial; Novie Angelie Buenafe, Best Technical Director; and Kenneth Raniel Montes, Best Field Reporter.

Prior to the competition today, the groups of senior high students attended a Radio Broadcasting Workshop facilitated by the English Department Head, Ma'am Jainiminni B. Tabinas.

The program started with a doxology performed by the Sidlakan Dance Troupe, after the doxology Ma'am Irene Campanero gave her opening remarks.

Different kinds of activities was held for the Celebration of National Reading Month. For Grade 7, the activity was spelling bee, it was held in the library. For Grade 8, the activity was word association, it was held in the computer lab. For Grade 9 the activity was Jumbled Words, it was held in the teachers lounge. The activity for Grade 10 was Jazz Chant. For Grade 12, the activity was Radio Broadcasting. Jazz Chant and Radio Broadcasting was held in the covered court.

For everyone who participated in our annual event, we sincerely give out our gratitude. It's a form of contest's that we can both enjoy and gain knowledge from. We hope you all liked participating as much as we did preparing for it.
