The College of Education of Eastern Samar State University–Maydolong Campus recently held a simple send-off for its Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) takers on March 14, 2026, through its LETS TAKE Program (Licensure Exam Takers Support through TEAMWORK, ASSISTANCE, KINSHIP, & ENCOURAGEMENT) a day prior the examination.

The gathering took place along Magsaysay Boulevard, where the LET examinees from ESSU–Maydolong met with several COEd faculty members for a short but meaningful session. During the meet-up, faculty members shared words of encouragement and support to inspire the future educators as they prepared for the exam.

As part of the send-off, the examinees were provided with snack packs and treated to a simple dinner. The activity was made possible through the wholehearted support of Campus Administrator Dr. Jerald P. Torillo and the generous contributions of ESSU–Maydolong alumni.

Protecting our oceans begins with simple actions, and one meaningful way to do this is through a coastal clean-up. Today, March 13, 2026, in collaboration with LGU Maydolong, headed by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Atty. Louie A. Borja, BLTEd faculty and students came together with a shared goal—to help restore the beauty and cleanliness of the shoreline of Brgy. 4.

Through initiatives like coastal clean-ups, communities can make a real difference in preserving the natural beauty of our oceans for future generations. Every piece of trash collected represents a small but meaningful step toward a cleaner, healthier community.

Last Friday was filled with creativity and excitement as the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education successfully held the Bazaar Ribbon Cutting and exciting ICT Contests—Digital Poster Making and Promotional Video Contest with the theme “Feeding the Future: You Are What You Eat.”

Students showcased their talents and ideas through powerful visuals and inspiring digital stories that promote healthy food choices and a sustainable future. The event not only highlighted technological creativity but also emphasized the importance of nutrition and responsible consumption for the generations to come.

Congratulations to all participants and organizers for making this event meaningful and impactful!
