2025 Disaster Resilience Month Celebration

Lapgap National High School observed Disaster Resilience Month through a series of activities throughout the month of July.

The celebration culminated with a symposium where invited guests, District DRRM Coordinator Mr. Jimuel G. Dalina discussed the importance of having awareness on disaster resilience and preparedness, and Ms. Felina O. Reyes, District Nurse discussed emergency response during a disaster.

Various contests such as quiz bee, slogan-poster making, and essay writing followed the symposium.

The activity ended with learners and teachers being re-oriented on the importance of collaboration and cooperation of everyone in raising community awareness on disaster resilience.

2025 Nutrition Month Celebration

Highlighting the theme "Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain Karapatan Natin!, Lapgap National High School celebrated Nutrition Month through a culmination program last July 25, 2025.

The said activity aimed at promoting proper nutrition and overall wellness of teachers, staff, and learners.

The celebration kicked off with a parade at Barangay Lapgap, followed by an opening program at the school plaza. The District Nurse, Ms. Felina O. Reyes, served as the Guest Speaker and gave a short but informative lecture about the theme.

Afterwards was the much-anticipated Nutri Cook Fest where groups of learners represented their respective sections to showcase their culinary skills through cooking a nutritious meal of their choice.

Poster-making and slogan contests as well as essay writing and poem writing were also held simultaneously.

The culmination activity concluded with the giving of certificates to the winners of the various contests.

Thank you to our Inducting Officers and raffle sponsors, Gov RV Evardone, BM Christelle Yadao, SB Jun Romulo Bajado, SB Marissa Titular, SB Marifel Ty Garado-Nonan, Chairman Nathaniel Ladiao, and Chairman Archelle Gupa, and Kagawad Albert Aguilar.
