Today, A. Mabini Elementary School proudly joins the celebration of Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day, a beautiful reminder that the family table is more than a place where we share food, it is where we share stories, laughter, love, and precious moments together. ❤️

This celebration became even more meaningful as our School Principal, Marlonie Paulie DeGuma Sampayan and teachers, and their families shared photos of themselves enjoying a meal together at home. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🍚 Their smiles and simple moments around the table remind us that no matter how busy life gets, there is always something special about coming home and sharing a meal with the people we love.

As one AMES family, we celebrate not only this special day but also the importance of strengthening family bonds...one meal, one conversation and one shared moment at a time.

Empowering Teachers, Amplifying Learning! 🎙️📚

A. Mabini Elementary School proudly joins the nationwide distribution of voice lapel devices to public school teachers through the support of the Office of the President Social Fund and the Department of Education, benefiting 879,533 teachers across the country.

Today, our dedicated teachers officially received their voice lapel devices, an initiative that will help enhance classroom instruction by ensuring every learner can hear lessons clearly, reducing teacher voice strain and creating a more engaging learning environment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the President and the Department of Education, under the leadership of Secretary Sonny Angara, for this meaningful support to Filipino educators.

At A. Mabini Elementary School, we remain committed to delivering quality, inclusive and learner-centered education—now with an even stronger voice.

When Compassion Leads, Hope Follows

In the wake of the recent flooding that affected many of our learners and their families, the A. Mabini Elementary School community once again proved that even after the strongest storms, hope shines brightest when people come together.

Driven by a shared desire to help, the school administration, Teachers’ Club, School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), generous donors and compassionate stakeholders joined hands to provide relief and comfort to families facing difficult times. What began as simple acts of generosity became a powerful reminder that no one in the AMES family has to face hardships alone.

Adding strength to this collective effort were our dedicated uniformed personnel, who willingly extended their time and service to help pack and distribute relief goods. Their commitment, alongside the unwavering support of volunteers, ensured that assistance reached those who needed it most.

Every food pack shared, every donation given and every helping hand extended carried a message louder than words: You are not alone.

This meaningful collaboration is a testament to the enduring Filipino spirit of bayanihan - a spirit that transcends titles and organizations, uniting people with one common purpose: to lift one another in times of need.

To our school administrator Dr. Marlon Paul G. Sampayan, Teachers’ Club, SPTA, generous donors, uniformed personnel, volunteers and everyone who opened their hearts to this cause, thank you. Your kindness has brought not only relief but also renewed hope to our flood-affected families.

Beyond the Floodwaters: A Victory Forged Through Resilience

When heavy rains and flooding swept across Davao City, many families found themselves facing uncertainty. Among them were members of A. Mabini Elementary School’s Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Fancy Drillers, some of whom arrived at the competition carrying not only their uniforms and equipment but also the weight of recent challenges at home.

Yet when the music started and the commands echoed across the venue, none of those hardships showed. What the audience witnessed instead was a team united by determination, discipline and unwavering courage.

Defying the odds, the BSP Fancy Drillers proudly brought home 2nd Place in the Kawan Fancy Drill Competition and 3rd Place in the Troop Fancy Drill Competition—a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about the character of every young scout.

Behind every synchronized movement was a story of perseverance. Some participants had to recover from the effects of the flooding while continuing to attend practices. Others pushed through exhaustion and uncertainty, refusing to let difficult circumstances define their performance. Their commitment proved that true strength is measured not by the absence of obstacles but by the courage to rise above them.

This achievement was made possible through the dedication of the scouts, the unwavering guidance of their trainers and teachers and the steadfast support of parents who continued to encourage their children despite the challenges brought by the recent calamity.

More than the plaque and recognition, this victory is a celebration of resilience. It reminds us that even after life’s strongest storms, hope, teamwork and determination can still lead us to moments of triumph.

To our BSP Fancy Drillers, you did not simply win awards, you inspired an entire school community. Your journey is proof that no flood is strong enough to wash away hard work, discipline and the spirit of a true scout.

Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement. You have marched beyond the floodwaters and into a victory that will be remembered with pride.

A. Mabini Elementary School Launches New Digital Learning Partnership

A. Mabini Elementary School proudly marks another milestone as it begins a meaningful partnership with the Ayala Foundation through the CENTEX Digital Education Program, in collaboration with the Department of Education.

The school warmly welcomed Ma’am Faye Pasamonte, EPS for Science, and representatives from the Ayala Foundation for a productive brainstorming session that officially launched this exciting initiative. The partnership is spearheaded at the school level by Heizel E. Cajipo Ei Zel, the school’s focal person for the program.

Through this collaboration, our teachers will gain access to data-driven professional development and innovative digital learning resources, including Khan Academy, utilizing the “High Touch, High Tech” approach to enhance teaching practices and improve learner outcomes.

Every meaningful accomplishment begins with a shared vision, and at A. Mabini Elementary School, that vision has become a reality with the completion of our newly enhanced ICT Room, a symbol of hope, collaboration and our collective commitment to providing quality education for every learner.

This milestone would not have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of our valued Australian partner, the Australian Foundation for Fostering Learning in the Philippines (AFFLIP). Through its unwavering support and dedication to uplifting Filipino learners, AFFLIP has helped transform a vision into a modern learning facility where innovation, creativity and digital learning can flourish.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to everyone who took part in this year’s Brigada Eskwela. Through the spirit of bayanihan, teachers, parents, volunteers, alumni, community members, stakeholders and partners generously shared their time, skills, resources and unwavering support to prepare and improve this learning space. Their collective efforts played a vital role in completing the ICT Room, proving that when a community works together, extraordinary things happen.

More than just a classroom equipped with technology, the ICT Room represents new opportunities for our learners. It provides a safe and engaging environment where they can develop digital literacy, conduct research, explore innovative learning platforms, create meaningful projects and acquire the essential 21st-century skills needed to succeed in an ever-evolving world.

The facility also serves as a valuable resource for our teachers, enabling them to integrate technology into instruction, conduct interactive lessons, participate in professional development activities and continuously enhance the quality of teaching and learning in our school.

This achievement is a shining testament to the power of partnerships and community collaboration. A. Mabini Elementary School proudly welcomed the PAKIG-AMBIT 2026 team for a meaningful and inspiring visit, reaffirming the school’s unwavering commitment to quality education, learner welfare and continuous school improvement.

The entire AMES family was deeply honored by the presence of Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Josie Bolofer and SEPS Jasmine Camilotes, whose invaluable guidance, expertise and encouragement provided direction and inspiration to both the teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Their visit served not only as an avenue for technical assistance but also as a celebration of the collective efforts of the school community in creating a safe, nurturing and learner-centered environment. Through collaborative discussions, validation of school practices and constructive feedback, the team recognized the dedication of AMES in delivering quality basic education.

One of the most heartwarming highlights of the visit was the inspiring message shared by ASDS Josie Bolofer, who commended the entire school for manifesting excellence through its accomplishments and commitment to service.
