The Augustinian Student Council (ASC) officially turned over 10 Baofeng walkie-talkie radios as part of its Communication Project held last April 6, 2026
The walkie-talkie radios are equipped with antennas and clips, along with 10 charging docks and AC adapters.
This initiative aims to improve communication within the school, especially during events and daily operations.
Unlike relying on mobile messaging apps where teachers or staff may not always be online, the use of walkie-talkies ensures faster and more reliable coordination. The devices are expected to be particularly useful during school and chapel events, where immediate communication is essential.
Through this project, the ASC continues to support a more efficient and responsive school environment, highlighting the importance of preparedness and teamwork in campus activities.

On April 28, 2026, the CSA-Mati community gathered for a Eucharistic Celebration in commemoration of the 461st Kaplag and the enduring Augustinian presence in the Philippines.
The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Leo Mario F. Singco, OSA, with Rev. Fr. Elmer E. Ebol, OSA and Rev. Fr. Rommel G. Bongcac, OSA as concelebrants. The celebration served as a moment of reflection on the rich spiritual heritage and mission of the Augustinian Order in the country.
As part of the event, attendees viewed an interview featuring EWTN Newsโ Deputy Vatican Editor Hannah Brockhaus and Fr. Joseph Farrell, Prior General of the Order of St. Augustine. The discussion highlighted how the Rule of St. Augustine continues to shape leadership in the Church, particularly in relation to Pope Leoโs papacy.
