Macambol National High School expresses its heartfelt appreciation for the successful conduct of the Annual Physical Examination for Grade 7 learners as part of the school’s commitment to promoting the health, safety, and overall well-being of our students.

The activity was conducted by the Division Health Team through Division Nurses Kate G. Peña, RN, Nurse II, and Rosheil R. Querequincia, RN, Nurse II, who shared their expertise, time, and dedicated service in assessing the health condition of our Grade 7 learners.

This meaningful health initiative aims to monitor the physical wellness of students, identify possible health concerns, and ensure that learners receive proper health guidance and support for a better learning experience.

Macambol National High School extends its sincere gratitude to the Schools Division Office and our dedicated health personnel for their continued partnership and commitment in taking care of the welfare of our learners.

June 17, 2026 was a remarkable day for our school community as Hallmark Mining Corporation conducted its Annual Giving of School Supplies with the theme, “Advancing the Community of Lifelong Learners.”

The activity highlighted the company’s continuing commitment to supporting education and empowering learners by providing essential school supplies that will help them succeed throughout the academic year. Through this meaningful initiative, Hallmark Mining Corporation once again demonstrated its dedication to nurturing the future of our children and strengthening partnerships within the community.

The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests from the Schools Division Office, led by Ms. Gina Flores, CID Chief, together with Ms. Liezel Padua, PSDS, Mr. Noel Perez, PSDS, Mr. Joselito Gayta, EPS, Mr. Arnel Zaragoza, EPS, Ms. Marilyn Pajaro, EPS-Araling Panlipunan, and Mr. Junrey Emiliano.

Also present were our respected local and community leaders: Hon. Cerino D. Salazar, Punong Barangay of Macambol BLGU; Hon. Pablito Alicaway, Committee on Education; Hon. Ian Bongcac, Committee on Education; and representatives of the Tribal Council of Macambol, whose support continues to contribute to the success of educational programs in the community.

Representing Hallmark Mining Corporation were SDMP Coordinator Ms. Helenita I. Sillote, Tribal Council Representative for Education Mr. Ian Bongcac, and Community Relations Officer Mrs. Vergincita A. Lozorata, who played vital roles in making the activity possible.

One of the highlights of the program was the turnover and distribution of school supplies to the learners. The smiles and excitement of the students reflected the positive impact of this generous gesture, which will greatly assist them in their daily learning activities.

The school would also like to recognize and express its sincere appreciation to the teaching staff, non-teaching personnel, parents, stakeholders, and community partners whose unwavering support, cooperation, and dedication contributed to the success of the event. Their collective efforts demonstrate the power of collaboration in creating opportunities and fostering a nurturing learning environment for every child.

An unexpected earthquake was felt in Macambol National High School and other parts of Mindanao during the first day of classes. Learners, parents and teachers quickly and safely evacuated following school safety procedures, and classes were suspended for safety.

We are thankful that everyone is safe and no one was injured during the incident.
