Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) involves more than just recalling a painful event. It can impact a person's emotions, thoughts, relationships, sense of safety, and ability to cope with daily life. This PTSD Awareness Month, let us choose empathy, kindness, and support.

Recovery is not a sign of weakness, it is a journey that requires courage, patience, and connection.

Today, May 28, 2026, the DOrSU community celebrates another milestone in the University’s steadfast pursuit of excellence, innovation, and inclusion.

From its roots as the Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology (DOSCST) to its conversion into a state university by virtue of Republic Act No. 11033, DOrSU continues to advance toward its vision of becoming the leading regenerative futures university in the Asia-Pacific by 2035.

This year’s theme, “G.R.O.W.T.H. in Action: Driving Regenerative Futures through Resilience, Innovation, and Service,” captures DOrSU’s ongoing efforts to make its regenerative futures vision visible and lived through solution-driven education, research, innovation, strengthened quality assurance, digital transformation, and other strategic priorities.
