FINAL FLYER FOR PICE 7TH REGIONAL TECHNICAL CONFERENCE

The PICE Chapters in Region XI namely Davao City (Host), Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental and North Davao will sponsor the 7th Region XI Technical Conference. The objectives of the Technical Conference are the professional development of its members, fostering of unity and camaraderie among members in a particular region and discussion of vital issues that affect the Civil Engineering Practice today.

The Region XI Technical Conference will be held on August 15 – 16, 2014 at the Garden Oases and Ritz Garden Hotel, Porras St., Bo. Obrero, Davao City with the theme: “Construction Upsurge in a Developing Nation: Its impact in the Practice of Civil Engineering”. This technical conference will also happen during the Kadayawan Festival 2014 showcasing the bountiful harvest of the City.

This will be attended by members from the four (4) Chapters and nearby regions of Mindanao. The program will include technical sessions, regional membership meeting and fellowship. The continuing professional development of civil engineers is a must to ensure the technical capability and preparedness of professionals to cope with the changing design and construction challenges.
