| Davao Oriental State University invites students, faculty, staff, and other interested participants to join “From DOrSU to the World: Advancing Responsible AI for Every Tata” on April 15, 2026 (3:00 – 5:00 PM), to be streamed live on the official page of the DOrSU Research, Innovation, and Extension Division.

The activity will cover timely and relevant topics, including AI fundamentals, AI in education, responsible AI use, the DOrSU AI Policy, and the AI Ready ASEAN Program. As artificial intelligence continues to shape the way people learn, work, and engage with information, the session seeks to make AI more accessible, practical, and ethically grounded within the academic community.

𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆-𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐈𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐓 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

Held last February 23, PANAG-AMBIT 2026 brought together BSIT students from the 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 and 𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 for a day filled with real stories, honest experiences, and meaningful learning from our alumni speakers. It was more than just a talk, it was a reminder that every 𝑰𝑻 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐧 highlighted the importance of practical IT skills and having sidelines that build real experience, reminding us that opportunities in technology exist across different industries.𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐃. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐲 challenged common myths about IT and emphasized that success is not about memorizing every programming language, but about problem-solving, communication, and continuous learning. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐌. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 shared her honest journey in programming, showing how perseverance, faith, and self-belief can turn struggles into growth.

May these lessons guide us as we continue learning, adapting, and striving for excellence in the ever-evolving world of technology, inspiring us to move forward with renewed purpose as future IT professionals.

🎉 Congratulations to the Passers! 🎉

We proudly announce the results of the ICT Proficiency (Diagnostic) Exam conducted at the Davao Oriental State University main campus in Mati City on November 14, 2025. Congratulations to the 9 BSIT graduating students who successfully passed the exam! 🎓💻

By passing this diagnostic stage, these talented individuals are now officially qualified to take the DICT ICT Specialist Proficiency Examination in Computer Programming. These examinations are meticulously designed to evaluate and certify an individual's technical competence in computer programming, systems analysis, and design functions. This certification attests to their readiness for the IT landscape and opens doors to specialized opportunities in the ICT sector.

The DICT Region 11 remains committed to fostering digital excellence and ensuring that our local graduates are equipped with industry-standard competencies.
