Don Enrique Lopez Elementary School successfully conducted the PINILIAY 2026: SELG Election on February 10, 2026, marking a significant milestone as this yearโs electoral process was shifted to a digital election system. The transition to digital voting reflects the schoolโs commitment to promoting transparency, efficiency, and responsible learner participation through the integration of technology in democratic processes.

The Plaque of Recognition for Best Practices on Gender and Development (GAD) Initiatives was awarded to Don Enrique Lopez Elementary School, represented by its School Head, Maโam Irish T. Sayson, during the Building Education Leadersโ Capacity and Recognition of Best Practices on SBM, GAD, C.I., Project W.A.T.C.H. and LAC Implementation โ Batch 2, held on December 5, 2025 at the Ritz Hotel, Davao City. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our stakeholdersโschool personnel, students, parents, and community partnersโwho continue to work with us in advancing our GAD initiatives.

A 15kV Distribution Transformer has been installed at Don Enrique Lopez Elementary School through the support of the Barangay Council of Barangay Don Enrique Lopez, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Jeaneth P. Manligoy.
This initiative addresses the long-standing challenge of limited electricity supply within our school premisesโremoving a barrier that once hindered our operations and empowering us to deliver quality education to our learners.
Our sincere thanks to the Barangay Council, with the presence of Hon. Reynaldo Arceรฑo, Barangay Kagawad, and the barangay staff, for making this possible and for showing strong support to education.

In a united effort to recover and enrich the learning journey of every child, Don Enrique Lopez Elementary School proudly launched Brigadahan sa LR 2025 on June 9, 2025, during the Kick-Off Program of Brigada Eskwela 2025. Anchored on the Department of Educationโs Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan, this initiative aims to mobilize stakeholders in producing, enhancing, and providing quality learning resources for all learners.
With the spirit of bayanihan, teachers, parents, partners, and volunteers came together to bring life to the schoolโs learning corners, contribute educational materials, and champion literacy for a MATATAG na Bayan.
