Join us live on Facebook for the 2022 University Research Development and Extension Colloquium and Annual In-house Review (URDE-CAIR) and the 2nd International Biodiversity Conference (IBC)!
IBC and URDE-CAIR 2022 will offer a pertinent conversation about biodiversity and the developing fields that either support or endanger it in response to Sustainable Development Goals for Regenerative Biodiversity.
Researchers, environmental managers, innovators, policymakers, and other stakeholders from around the world will come together on this international platform to discuss how to mainstream opportunities to capitalize on biodiversity from ridge to reef as a tool to protect sustainable development for the people.

A field biologist from the Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) is among the esteemed presenters during the 29th Annual Philippine Biodiversity Symposium held on December 1 to 3, 2021. Mr. Giovanne G. Tampos presented the study entitled, "𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙥𝙤 𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜."

One of our researchers, Ms. Vanessa E. Asaias, presented the study titled, "𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙊𝙗𝙪 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙫𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙧 (𝙍𝙪𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖)," during the 29th Philippine Biodiversity Symposium held from December 1 until tomorrow, December 3, 2021.
The article is co-authored by Mr. Jhonnel P. Villegas and Dr. Mary Fil M. Bauyot under the institutionally-funded Deer Conservation Project implemented by the Gender and Development (GAD) Center, in partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF).
