Congratulations to all the students who successfully passed the Campus Journalism Screening 2026! 🎉 Your talent, creativity, confidence, and passion for journalism have earned you a place in our growing team of young journalists. 🖊️

To those who did not qualify in the screening, don’t lose heart! This is not the end of your journalism journey. We are still OPEN FOR APPLICATION, especially for students who wish to participate in the COLPUB (Collaborative Publishing) event.

There are still other journalism events and opportunities where you can showcase your skills, creativity, and talent. You still have a chance to be part of the team! 🌟

New face. New voices. New stories. One enduring commitment to truthful, responsible, and inspiring campus journalism.

After two decades of serving as the voice of the learners, the official school paper of Rabat-Rocamora Mati Central School SPED Center proudly unveils a fresh new look.

Behind every image is a story. The original logo was designed by Mr. Juland Olay in 2007, symbolizing the beginning of the school's journalism journey. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the publication embraced digital journalism when Dretz Salgado, then a Grade 6 learner, and Vanessa P. Maranguit collaborated to create the school's first online newspaper, giving the publication a renewed identity for the digital age.

Today, the publication enters another exciting chapter with a new face that reflects growth, innovation, and the enduring spirit of student journalism. Along with its refreshed identity come new stories to discover, new voices to inspire, and new articles to read, hear, and talk about.

𝚈𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚐 𝙹𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝙷𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐

The aspiring young journalists of Rabat-Rocamora Mati Central School SPED Center gathered for a week-long Journalism Screening held from July 28–31, 2026, to select the next members of the school paper for the School Year 2026–2027.

Throughout the screening, the committee members for each journalism category guided, mentored, and assisted the participants in developing their writing skills. Through various writing activities and assessments, the learners were encouraged to produce meaningful and engaging articles while showcasing their creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills.

The screening also provided an opportunity for the aspiring campus journalists to discover and strengthen their potential, preparing them to become responsible, competent, and passionate writers who will represent the school in future journalism endeavors.

2026 School Sports Meet 🏅
