Matanao National High School Conducts the DepEd ARAL Program Parents' Orientation
Matanao National High School successfully conducted the DepEd Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program Parents' Orientation today, attended by the parents and guardians of the learners who will be participating in the ARAL Program.
The program began with an Opening Prayer led by Ma'am Gina Baรฑares, followed by the Welcome Address delivered by the ARAL Coordinator, Mr. Roxan Dominique C. Sabornido. An inspiring Message of Support was then shared by Principal III, Elene Marie Jane A. Gamboa, emphasizing the importance of strong collaboration between the school and home in ensuring learners' academic success.
This was followed by the Orientation on the DepEd ARAL Program, providing parents with a clear understanding of the program's objectives, implementation, and expected outcomes. The Introduction of the 18 ARAL Tutors was conducted by the Reading Coordinator, Mrs. Marichu Javelona, who presented the dedicated teachers who will serve the 497 ARAL tutees beginning August 3, 2026.
One of the highlights of the activity was the Parents' Pledge of Commitment, led by Ma'am Karen Aceberos, where parents expressed their support and commitment to actively participate in their children's learning journey. An Open Forum followed, allowing parents to raise questions and seek clarification regarding the implementation of the program. The activity concluded with a Closing Prayer led by Ma'am Hazel Tecson.
