Society of English Majors (SEM) officers officially took their oath of office during the Induction Ceremony held at the South Philippine Adventist College (S**C) Church under the theme "Panata: Leadership through Service."

Dr. Alfred Agustin encouraged the newly inducted officers to embrace servant leadership by following the example of Jesus Christ. He reminded them that true leadership is not defined by power or position but by humility, integrity, sacrifice, and faithful service. He added, while leadership positions provide opportunities to serve, it is character that builds credibility, and that people may forget what leaders say, but they will always remember how they were treated.

July 23, 2026 โ€” After the Chapel Period at 11:00 AM, Society of English Majors (SEM) worked with the School of Teacher Education in their First Bayanihan in preparation for the upcoming Music Festival by SePUM.

In coordination with our sponsors, the SEM members worked hand in hand in cleaning the assigned areas near the ECBR, specifically the guardhouse vicinity, the gazebos and the surroundings of the Business Office. Working together, being committed, and having that same attitude of service made every job a reminder that real change starts when people get together for a single purpose.
