MSASHS is proud to announce its successful UPCAT 2026 passers! Kudos to the following:
1. Mingao, Leigh Amerine B.
2. Saga, Shella Mae C.
3. Gasatan, Ivy Christyline M.

It is a milestone for our institution to make this historic achievement in our 2nd-year batch of applicants. We extend our gratitude to UP Tacloban for reaching out and assisting this batch from orientation to review until the giving of final reminders on what to prepare on the day of the exams. And this is not possible without the grit, determination, and readiness of our student-applicants too. Thanks to our school head and admin personnel who helped, one way or the other, to make this successful.

As of this posting, we still have two (2) more student-applicants awaiting verification/confirmation from UP Admissions Office. We will keep you posted if there are updates.

Two hundred and sixty-five (265) Grade 12 completers were proudly and officially conferred as graduates of Matag-ob Stand Alone Senior High School during its 9th Commencement Exercises and 1st Alternative Learning System (ALS) Graduation Ceremony today, March 30, 2026.

Inspired with the theme, "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character, Dr. Wilbur Laurente Dalton, the keynote speaker, encouraged the newly recruited members of the MSASHS' Alumni Association to soar higher in their academic endeavors.

Also gracing the momentous activity were Hon. Mayor Bernandino Tacoy and other representatives from the Local Government Unit of Matag-ob, District Supervisor, Dr. Carina Masbang and School Heads from other schools within the municipality.

With this, the faculty and staff of MSASHS extend their warmest congratulations to the graduates as well as to the parents and guardians, who in no doubt played a vital role in shaping these young minds, leading them to a stronger and brighter future.

Once again, the faculty, staff, and students of Matag-ob Stand-Alone Senior High School (MSASHS) remind everyone of the three (3) primary responses when the ground unexpectedly shakes during our Earthquake Drill on March 12, 2026.

This drill not only trains students to protect themselves during an earthquake but also empowers them to share these life-saving actions with their familiesโ€”helping build a culture of safety and preparedness beyond the school campus.

To gather relevant data on learnersโ€™ academic experiences, learning environments, and support mechanisms that influence their performance and engagement in school, the faculty of Matag-ob Stand Alone Senior High School (MSASH) conducted a survey today, February 19, 2026, utilizing the Landas Toolkitโ€“Adjusted School-Based Form among Grade 10 learners of Matag-ob National High School and Kananga National High School-Kawayan Annex.

Through the collaborative effort among the teachers and administrators from participating schools, the activity successfully achieved in gathering essential learners' data for evidence-based school planning and program development.
