✨ Science Month Celebration 2025 ✨

The Science Department, together with the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), proudly spearheaded this year’s Science Month Celebration, filled with fun, learning, and innovation! 🚀💡

The celebration began with the Recycled Invention Contest held last September 18, 2025, where students showcased their creativity and brilliance by transforming recyclable materials into useful and eco-friendly inventions. ♻️✨ Their works proved that science, technology, and environmental awareness can work together in building a sustainable future. 🌱💚

The excitement continued with the Sci-Mazing Race, a thrilling challenge that tested students’ knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through various science and technology-based stations! 🧠🔥
Each participant showed sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and curiosity, truly embodying the spirit of young innovators. 🌟

♻️🧹 Preparation and Cleaning of MRF 🧹♻️

Last July 30, 2025, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) officers, together with our dedicated Science teachers, worked hand in hand in the preparation and cleaning of the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) of Mataasnakahoy National High School. 🌿✨

This activity aimed to ensure that our MRF is ready and organized for the proper segregation of papers, bottles, and other recyclables—supporting the implementation of Project BIDA 2.0 and promoting discipline and cleanliness within the school community. 📝🥤🚮

We extend our gratitude to our ever-supportive School Principal IV, Ma'am Marivic M. Dimaculangan, and our inspiring PSDS, Dr. Nancy D. Lubis, for their constant encouragement in making this initiative possible. 🙏💛

♻️ Project BIDA (Batang Inobatibo: Sa Disiplinadong Paaralan, Bida ang Kalinisan) 2.0 ♻️

Project BIDA 2.0 officially kicked off with an orientation conducted by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) last August 7, 2025, continuing the initiative started by the previous batch of officers. 📢🌱 This orientation guided students on the importance of proper waste segregation—separating paper, bottles, and reducing litter—to ensure that the legacy of discipline and cleanliness lives on in Mataasnakahoy National High School. 🌿✨

To make segregation easier and more organized, each section has been provided with signages for papers and bottles, so students know exactly where to put their recyclables. 📝🧃

We extend our gratitude to our ever-supportive School Principal IV, Ma'am Marivic M. Dimaculangan, and our inspiring PSDS, Dr. Nancy D. Lubis, for their constant encouragement in making Project BIDA possible. 🙏💛
