“Inside the classroom, I realized that teaching Mathematics is not only about numbers and formulas, but also about building confidence, discipline, and perseverance in every learner.”
I am Grace-Ann B. Millor, a graduating teaching intern taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics from Osmeña Colleges – College of Teacher Education.
During my internship, I did not only teach Mathematics—I also learned how to:
📌 Handle real classroom situations and make Mathematics more meaningful and understandable for students
📌 Adjust teaching strategies and lesson plans to meet the different needs of learners
📌 Encourage, guide, and inspire students to overcome their fear of Mathematics
Through this journey, I experienced the true reality of being a teacher— challenging at times, but always meaningful and fulfilling.
With the help of Osmeña Colleges – College of Teacher Education, I was shaped into:
✨ A classroom-ready Mathematics teacher
✨ An educator with passion, patience, and purpose
✨ A future professional who is confident in her skills and dedication
As a future Mathematics teacher, I want my students to see Mathematics not as a difficult subject, but as a subject that teaches perseverance, critical thinking, and lessons that can be applied in real life.
I may be graduating soon, but this is only the beginning of my journey.
If you want to experience real teaching and meaningful growth as a future educator—choose OC CTE.

Inside the classroom, I discovered that teaching is not only about delivering lessons—it is about guiding, adjusting, and growing with every learner.
I am Mark T. Francisco, a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from Osmeña Colleges, College of Teacher Education.
My practice teaching internship journey at Masbate National Comprehensive High School as a pre-service teacher went far beyond simply delivering lectures, I did not just teach—I learned how to face the realities of the profession. I learned how to handle an actual class, understand different kinds of learners, and adapt to the daily challenges that come with teaching. More than that, I learned that the core of teaching is the ability to listen, understand, and show genuine compassion for every learner under my care.
This journey at MNCHS showed me the unfiltered reality of this calling. I learned that while the work is often exhausting, the spark of understanding in a student's eyes makes every late-night preparation worth it.
Under the wing of OCCTE, I have been transformed into a resilient educator. I am now a practice teacher who is fully prepared to become a professional teacher, manage the complexities of a classroom, a mentor who moves with purpose and passion, and a professional who carries the quiet confidence needed to lead.
Today, I no longer see teaching as just a profession—it is the path I have chosen with purpose.
My internship may be ending, but the lessons I gained will stay with me as I continue my journey as a future teacher.
If you are looking for a place that prepares you for real teaching and real growth, choose OCCTE.

“A title can make you an officer, but character makes you a leader.”
I’m Rudy Boy B. Catarin Jr., a BEEd student and the President of the CTE Council at Osmeña Colleges – College of Teacher Education.
I chose to lead in CTE because I believe leadership is more than holding a position — it is about serving with purpose, inspiring others, and becoming a voice for the students. As future educators, we are called not only to teach lessons, but also to become examples of integrity, compassion, and service.
I may not be the best leader, and I still have a lot to learn, but I will always lead with sincerity, dedication, and a heart that genuinely wants to serve. Because for me, leadership is not about being perfect — it’s about being present, responsible, and willing to stand for others even in difficult times.
In this journey as a CTE officer, I learned that leadership means:
• Putting students before yourself
• Leading with humility, excellence, and compassion
• Creating a positive impact that others will remember
“Leadership is not measured by the position you hold, but by the lives you inspire.”
Here in CTE, we don’t just organize events — we shape future educators who will one day create change inside and outside the classroom.
You don’t have to wait to become a teacher to make an impact. Start leading today. Be part of CTE.
