Dean of Osmeรฑa Colleges CTE named INSTABRIGHT senior member

MASBATE CITY โ€” Dr. Jonald B. Sia, Dean of the College of Teacher Education at Osmeรฑa Colleges, has been recognized as a Senior Member of the INSTABRIGHT International Guild of Researchers and Educators (SMIIGRE).

The recognition was formally conferred during the 9th INSTABRIGHT Investiture and 8th Conferment Ceremony held at The Heritage Hotel Manila in Pasay City.

INSTABRIGHT is a Philippine-based international organization that promotes excellence in research, education, innovation, scholarly publication, and global academic collaboration through international engagements and academic activities.

The distinction highlights Dr. Siaโ€™s continuing contributions to teacher education, research, and academic leadership.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸซDr. Jonald Blacer Sia is an educator, academic leader, researcher, and author specializing in transformative education, educational leadership, quality assurance, and strategic management. He holds a Doctor of Education and is nearing completion of a doctorate in Public Administration, complemented by honorary doctorates, postdoctoral studies in Strategic Leadership and Total Quality Management, multiple masterโ€™s degrees, professional fellowships, and various certifications.

๐Ÿ›๏ธHe has served as Graduate School Dean and Associate Vice-president for Academic Affairs, leading academic innovations and curriculum reforms. He currently serves as Dean of the College of Teacher Education at Osmeรฑa Colleges.

โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฌA prolific author and researcher, he has scholarly interests in Education, Leadership, Management, Language, Administration, and Sustainable Development. He serves as National Public Relations Officer of the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, a member of the CHED Regional Quality Assessment Team, and a Global Peace Ambassador of the International Peace and Economic Development Organization advocating transformative and inclusive education.

The Osmeรฑa Colleges College of Teacher Education (CTE) Council has officially submitted all documentary requirements to the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) for registration under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP).

YORP (Youth Organization Registration Program) is an initiative of the National Youth Commission (NYC) that officially recognizes and registers legitimate youth and youth-serving organizations across the country. Through YORP registration, organizations become part of a broader network of youth groups and gain access to various opportunities for leadership, development, and community engagement.

The documentary requirements were personally submitted by Mr. John Benedict Labao, President of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) Council, together with Ms. Mary Joy Lagarde, Council Secretary, the Council Representatives, and their Organization Adviser, Mr. Ramon Ronald L. Fernandez, who personally visited the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) to facilitate the organization's registration under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP).

Once approved, the Osmeรฑa Colleges CTE Council will join the seven (7) active YORP-registered organizations in Masbate City:
