DOST-PAGASA Rainfall Advisory No. 15

reported that a shear line is bringing moderate to heavy rainfall affecting Masbate, including our municipality. Within a 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹, flooding was observed in some areas of Milagros. Despite the absence of a Yellow Rainfall Warning from PAGASA, the local government deemed it necessary to declare the suspension of classes due to the prevailing conditions in the interest of public safety
