OC STUDENTS, THIS IS OUR ASEAN FIESTA 2026!

Get ready for a celebration of culture, creativity, friendship, sustainability, and the vibrant spirit of being an OC student!

We are excited to present the ASEAN FIESTA 2026 Calendar of Activities, bringing together our celebration of ASEAN Month, Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, and our General Acquaintance Party under the theme:

“Navigating Our Future, Together.”

From Project Green: 101 Trees for ASEAN to writing, TikTok and vlog challenges, cultural activities, ASEAN booths, Laro ng Lahi, OPM performances, the ASEAN Parade, King and Queen Showdown, and our much-awaited Acquaintance Party and Gala Night—there is a place for every OC student to participate, represent, create, learn, and celebrate!

More than a series of events, ASEAN FIESTA is about US—our stories, talents, cultures, friendships, and our shared responsibility to build a more connected and sustainable future.

UniFAST Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Allowance for the First Semester, Academic Year 2025–2026 has been credited to your LANDBANK account on July 25, 2026, and August 1, 2026 for TES grantees under Batch 1, Batch 2, and Batch 10.

If you have concerns regarding your TES allowance, please visit the Scholarship Section Office during office hours for assistance.

* Blue Ballpen
* In Case Where the Student Cannot Claim Personally the TES Grant, the Student Shall Issue an:
* Authorization Letter to a Parent or Special Power of Attorney (SPA) for representative (3 Copies)
* Attached Photocopy of the ID with 3 Specimen Signature of the Grantee. (3 Copies)
* And the Government Issued ID with 3 Specimen Signature of the Authorized Relative to Claim the TES Grant. (3 Copies)
* If not married, Certificate of Cohabitation from Barangay.

Note: The grantees included in this schedule are those who did not provide their LANDBANK account information or submitted their LANDBANK account details after the submission deadline. As a result, their TES allowance was not processed for crediting to their LANDBANK accounts for this payout.

CAMPUS JOURNALISM SEMINAR-WORKSHOP EQUIPS STUDENT JOURNALISTS WITH PROFESSIONAL INSIGHTS

Sharing his expertise in journalism, Mr. Jeric E. Cabug, Education Program Supervisor of the Schools Division of Masbate Province, served as the resource speaker during the Campus Journalism Seminar-Workshop, where he imparted valuable knowledge on ethical journalism, effective news writing, responsible media practice, and the indispensable role of student journalists in upholding truth and accountability.

The learning activity was spearheaded by the School Publications Advisers (SPAs), Garry B. Magalo Jr. and Jonadin D. Abanto, as part of the school’s continuing commitment to developing competent, responsible, and principled campus journalists. Through engaging discussions and practical workshop sessions, participants enhanced their journalistic skills while strengthening their commitment to delivering accurate, balanced, and meaningful stories that serve both the school and the wider community.

Another step forward in building a safer and more prepared campus community. The Campus Responder Health and Safety Training Course – Batch 4 successfully completed Modules 2 and 3, conducted in partnership with the Masbate Police Provincial Office (MPPO) and Masbate City Fire Station.
Through Project W.A.T.C.H. and Basic Responders Training, our student responders strengthened their awareness, discipline, and essential skills in campus safety, crime prevention, fire safety, and emergency response.
