MASBATE PROVINCE Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (PDRRMO) ADVISORY: 📣📣📣
PREPAREDNESS FOR TYPHOON :
All Local Government Units (LGUs) within the Province are hereby directed to immediately activate their respective Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (MDRRMCs), in close coordination with their Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees (BRRMCs), and to implement the following preparedness measures:
🚨Conduct quick hazard and risk assessments (flood-prone areas).
🚨Prepare and inspect evacuation centers for safety and sufficient supplies.
🚨Pre-position food, water, first-aid kits, and other essential items.
🚨Secure vital infrastructure and reinforce weak structures.
🚨Coordinate with the barangay and/or city initiated for real-time updates and possible evacuation orders.
🚨Alert and assist vulnerable residents like elderly, PWDs, pregnant women, and Ready rescue and first-aid teams with necessary equipment.
🚨Follow the official communication channels for community alerts and sitreps.
🚨Monitor official weather advisories and share verified updates promptly.
