Second Monthly Kumustahan of the ELSG Academy for Master Teachers

Everything becomes a little different as soon as it is spoken out loud. Good communication is your ticket to success, if you pay attention and learn to do it effectively.

The part 2 of day 1 during the Second Monthly Kumustahan of the ELSG Academy for Master Teachers was all about Oral Development Communication.

Scholars are privileged to listen and learn from one of the experts in this craft. It was facilitated by Miss Helen V. Titong the Education Program Supervisor in English of SDO Masbate.

She accentuate that good communication skill is the bridge between confusion and clarity.

LOOK I The ELSG Academy for Master Teachers Batch 2 Scholars benchmarked Pajo ES of Balud North District, Balud, Masbate.

The benchmarking activity is part of the academy’s second monthly kumustahan. Highlights of the activity are school’s best practices, innovative projects along teaching and learning.

GPTA President/ officers, Brgy. Officials, teachers, stakeholders and learners were all present to welcome and join the scholars in the productive and fun-filled learning activity.

LOOK I SDO Masbate launches the ELSG Academy for Master Teachers Batch 2

In relation to the establishment and implementation of Exemplary Leadership and School Governance (ELSG) Academy for Master Teachers per Div. Memo No. 0281, s. 2021, SDO Masbate through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) launched the batch 2 of scholars held at Villa Candelaria, Malubi, Aroroy, Masbate this March 4, 2023.

Cheryll V. Bermudo, OIC-ASDS welcomed the attendees in the launching and shared important insights about the vital and diverse role of everyone in achieving the success of the program.

Moreover, Schools Division Superintendent, Nene-Rosal Merioles, CESO V emphasized that while in the academy, scholars will be well-taken care of and given all necessary technical support and assistance so they will grow professionally and holistically for the benefit of every Masbateño learners.

“If you stop learning, you stop creating history that you, yourself become history”, SDS Nene added.

Meanwhile, Regional Director Gilbert T. Sadsad graced the launching as Keynote Speaker and as he delivered his inspirational message to the scholars. He reminded them that as frontliners they will be a big help to the Department in realizing its goal to address the problem along literacy and numeracy of our early grade learners.

According to RD Sadsad, educators must be guiding stars and committed in performing their duties and responsibilities so that the journey of the learners is encouraging and smooth.

OIC-ASDS Joel Caolboy in his closing message highlighted that this practice and brand of excellence need to be continued even without them because as Master Teachers it’s their main role and function to provide assistance to their mentees.

The presence of the Chiefs in SGOD and CID, Mark Anthony H. Rupa and Ma. Dorothy L. Daniel made the undertaking more meaningful likewise the PSDSs, School Heads of the scholars and the module writers, editors and evaluators were also present in the said activity.

LOOK I SDO Masbate Province, ELSG Academy for Master Teachers (Batch 2) prepares for the launching and program orientation tomorrow March 4,2023 at Villa Candelaria Resort, Malubi, Aroroy, Masbate.

Rain or shine, the 32 scholars chosen to journey in the academy for Master Teachers actively participate in the general rehearsal.

The rehearsal was facilitated by the academy technical working group (TWG) composed of the following EPSs of Curriculum Implementation Division; Gloria E. Fontelar, Marma L. Capellan, Helen V. Titong, Joshua E. Oyon-Oyon and Imelda E. Rejuso, assessor-head together with the Chief ES of CID, Ma. Dorothy L. Daniel.

Meanwhile, DepEd-Regional Director, Gilbert T. Sadsad will be gracing the launching of the academy as the keynote speaker.
