LOOK I SDO Masbate launches the ELSG Academy for Master Teachers Batch 2
In relation to the establishment and implementation of Exemplary Leadership and School Governance (ELSG) Academy for Master Teachers per Div. Memo No. 0281, s. 2021, SDO Masbate through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) launched the batch 2 of scholars held at Villa Candelaria, Malubi, Aroroy, Masbate this March 4, 2023.
Cheryll V. Bermudo, OIC-ASDS welcomed the attendees in the launching and shared important insights about the vital and diverse role of everyone in achieving the success of the program.
Moreover, Schools Division Superintendent, Nene-Rosal Merioles, CESO V emphasized that while in the academy, scholars will be well-taken care of and given all necessary technical support and assistance so they will grow professionally and holistically for the benefit of every Masbateño learners.
“If you stop learning, you stop creating history that you, yourself become history”, SDS Nene added.
Meanwhile, Regional Director Gilbert T. Sadsad graced the launching as Keynote Speaker and as he delivered his inspirational message to the scholars. He reminded them that as frontliners they will be a big help to the Department in realizing its goal to address the problem along literacy and numeracy of our early grade learners.
According to RD Sadsad, educators must be guiding stars and committed in performing their duties and responsibilities so that the journey of the learners is encouraging and smooth.
OIC-ASDS Joel Caolboy in his closing message highlighted that this practice and brand of excellence need to be continued even without them because as Master Teachers it’s their main role and function to provide assistance to their mentees.
The presence of the Chiefs in SGOD and CID, Mark Anthony H. Rupa and Ma. Dorothy L. Daniel made the undertaking more meaningful likewise the PSDSs, School Heads of the scholars and the module writers, editors and evaluators were also present in the said activity.
