PROGRAMA PARA SA BUWAN NG WIKA NAGSIMULA

AGOSTO 4, 2025 ay unang lunes ng buwan ng Agosto. Ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ay taon-taong ipinagdiriwang ng mga Filipino upang gunitain ang pagkaroon ng Pilipinas ng Wikang Pambansa. Ang Mataas na paaralan ng Taisan ay nakilahok sa programa ng sabay-sabay na pag taas ng Bandila sa buong kapuluan ng Pilipinas na pinangunahan ng mga kawani ng gobyerno ng Taisan HS. Ang bihasa sa Filipino na si G. Jolas D. Lancetas ang nanguna sa at nagsiling tagapagdaloy ng programa kasama ang mga mag-aaral ng Taisan.

DISTRICT CAMPUS JOURNLISM: The Net advisers bags placement during Training Workshops

To capacitate school paper advisers, Serafin C. Rosero Memorial High School (SCRMHS) school paper publication The Harvest hold District Training Workshop on Campus Journalism for School Paper Advisers from August 1-3, 2025. The three day training workshop had brought new learnings to the attendees.

During the first day of the Campus Journalism activity, different sessions started to teach school paper advisers about the basic know how in writing campus articles. Topics covered by the lecturers are Sports Writing, Column Writing, and Copy Reading and Headline Writing, News Writing, Feature Writing, Editorial Writing and Editorial Cartooning. Distinguished lectures who cascade their slides were Ms. Maria Carla Aganan, Ma'am Mary Grace Ojeda, Mr. Joseph D. Delos Reyes, Mr. Paul Jowen R. Blancaver, Ma'am Mary Ann Habana, and Madam Vianna Caballero.

This training seminar workshop is a timely activity in the Milagros West District since that there were regional and national qualifiers from the MWD. The training seminar workshop helped the advisers to train their future RSSPC and NSPC winners.

The Taisan HS The Net advisers were among the participants who joined the training they were Mr. Mark Anthony A. Oliva for (English) and Mr. Jolas D. Lancetas (Filipino). During the closing program, the announcement of winners from the different categories were given.

Mr. Oliva won in English Category 2nd Place in Editorial, 1st Place in Column Writing, 1st Place Sci-Tech and 1st Place in Editorial Cartooning. In Filipino category, Mr. Lancetas won 2nd Place in Editorial Cartooning, 2nd in Column Writing, 3rd Sports Writing and 1st in Sci-Tech.

Ms.Helen V. Titong, CID EPS-1 (English) and Mr. Joshua Oyon-Oyon, CID EPS-I/ Division Campus Journalism Coordinator and Mr. Paul Jowen R. Blancaver, DO SEP were among the guests during the closing program.

THS LAUNCHES NUTRITION MONTH 2K25

Earlier today, July 21, 2025 the Taisan High School launched the Nutrition Month Celebration. The activity was held at Taisan High School open stage at 7:30 in the morning. It was Mr. Jayd S. Placio, THS WiNS, Health, Yes-0,NDEP, and Clinic Coordinator who spearheaded the event.

This year's nutrition month celebration is anchored on the theme: "Sa PPAN Sama-Sama Sa Nutritsyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat: Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na PagkainKarapatan Natin. " Wherein this give emphasis on the importance of knowing our rights for a healthy life and food to take. Moreover, this activity promotes awareness among youths to be aware and be guided of the ways and means towards a healthy living.

Along with the activity are the presentation of exciting events to be conducted for the week such as Slogan Making Contest, Poster Making Contest, Essay Writing Contest, Cooking Contest, Zumba Exercise Contest, and Mr. and Ms. Nutrition 2025 are just few of the activities to be conducted.

Participants for the event were Taisan High School both Junior and Senior High students and Faculty members of the academe.

"In order for us to have a healthy life we must eat healthy foods, exercise regularly and we must have a healthy environment" according to the THS Officer in - Charge, Mr. Leo A. Alayon.

Taisan High School official school paper "The Net or Ang Lambat" is looking for Campus Writers for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

If you are a budding writer enrolled in Taisan High School, ikaw po ang aming hinahanap. If you are interested to become a Campus Journalist just approach the advisers Mr. Mark Anthony Oliva and Mr. Jolas D. Lancetas.

TAISAN HIGH SCHOOL JOINS DISTRICT MURAL PAINTING COMPETITION

In support to the "Regional Lakas Sa Gatas Campaign", the Taisan High School sent three representatives for the District Mural Competition and with the Integration to Literacy and Numeracy last June 27 to 28, 2025 at Milagros West District.

Participants sent to attend the said event were Cydrick Santiago and Mark Elisher Reyes both grade 12 and Ivan Guardian a grade 11 student of Taisan High School with Mr. Jaypee Medina, and THS Senior High School Teacher. They were supported by Mr. Leo A. Alayon, THS Officer in Charge.
