As part of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 celebration with the theme, “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik,” our Grade 4, 5, and 6 students prepared and served nutritious meals to the children of the Sta. Lucia Wakas Day Care Center.

Through this meaningful outreach, our students not only shared food but also promoted St. Michael’s School: Center of Catholic Education, Inc. (SMS:CCEI) by living out our mission of faith, service, and excellence. Truly, they are witnesses of service, bringing kindness, compassion, and hope to the community.

As we begin the new school year, the SMS:CCEI community gathered on July 22, 2026 for the Mass of the Holy Spirit, followed by the Flag Ceremony, entrusting the entire academic year to God's loving guidance. May the Holy Spirit grant us wisdom, strength, and courage to become true witnesses of faith, service, and excellence in all that we do.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our dear students for their active participation and to our supportive parents for your unwavering encouragement and partnership. Together, let us continue to grow in faith and strive for a blessed, meaningful, and successful school year. ❤️🙏

Dear Parents and Students of SMS:CCEI!

We warmly invite everyone to join us for the Mass of the Holy Spirit on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at SMS Chapel, as we seek God's guidance and blessings for the new school year.

Schedule:

7:15 AM – 7:45 AM – Devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

7:45 AM – 8:00 AM – Silent Reflection

8:00 AM – Holy Spirit Mass

For the Offertory, selected Kinder, Grade 1, 2 and 3 learners are requested to prepare an offering, which may be cash or in kind.

We also remind all members of the choir, readers and those assigned to the Mass responses to attend the practice tomorrow morning. Your presence and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Let us come together in prayer as one Catholic community, asking the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen us throughout the School Year 2026–2027.

Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes
July 9, 2026 (Thursday)

Dear Michaelenians, Parents, and Guardians,

Please be informed that face-to-face classes on Thursday, July 9, 2026, are suspended due to the anticipated adverse weather conditions brought about by Typhoon Inday.

To ensure the continuity of learning, classes will shift to the Asynchronous Learning Modality. Students are encouraged to continue reviewing for the second day of the examinations and complete any remaining activities in their textbooks or learning materials.

The safety and well-being of our students, parents, faculty, and staff remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to stay at home, take the necessary precautions, and monitor official school announcements for further updates.

Prayer against Crime and Violence

Lord God, crime is on the increase within our city and our country. From the depths of our hearts we pray that you will comfort, heal, and bless all victims of crime.

We ask that you protect all people from the evil of crime and violence.

We pray especially for life-changing conversion for all criminals and the violent—remove all evil form their hearts, fill them with your goodness and love that they may cease their evil works and that our city and land be free from the scourge of crime and violence.

We pray also for the grace to purge ourselves of all violence—in our own thoughts and actions, in our family life, in relationships with others.

Lord, we commit to refrain from violent acts or words to settle conflicts. We further swear to teach others, especially our youth, that violence is too quick an answer that produces irreparable, life-long and threatening results.

Amen.
