HISTORY: The Masantol High School was initially founded in 1966 at Bagang, Masantol, Pampanga. It was then named Bagang Barrio High School. In 1967, it was transferred to Sta. Lucia, Masantol, Pampanga. Consequently, its name was changed to Sta. Lucia Barangay High School. In 1991, Sta. Lucia High School had an annex at Bebe Anac, Masantol, Pampanga, which was occupied by the third and fourth year

students while Sta. Lucia High School-Main was occupied by the first and second year students. In year 2000, the first and second year students were transferred to Sta. Lucia HS-Annex in Bebe Anac. In that same year, the school’s name was changed to Masantol High School, being the only public school in the municipality during that time. This was through the efforts of the Sangguniang Bayan – Committee on Education through a resolution. Today, Masantol High School is situated at Bebe Anac, Masantol, Pampanga with an average annual enrolment of 1,600. It has been led by a number of principals and officer-in-charge, has undergone trials and struggles as a school and yet it stands and continues to become a total quality school.
