Let me give you a good tip as a vet trader.

Wala ka kasing mentor kaya let me enlighten you on some things sa trading na maaaring kinapapahamak mo pero di mo lang narerealize.

Lets say may isang big event na nangyari on a weekend.

Nagkaroon ng huge good news ang isang stock. Nagkaroon ng War. Namatay ang CEO ng isang company/stock at walang maayos na papalit. Nagtweet si trump ng 5,000 percent na tariff sa lahat ng bansa.

Most traders especially mga newbies will prepare to trade the direction na they think pupuntahan ng price.

Let me give you a realistic example.

Last Feb 28 ay binombahan ng US ang Iran. Sarurday yun.

Closed mostly ang market aside sa crypto.

By Monday, madaming traders ang nagLONG sa GOLD.

"May gyera kaya tataas ang GOLD."

Pag-open pa lang ay gap up na ang price ng gold then bumagsak. Bumagsak ng bumagsak at marami ang naipit, nagkaloss ng malaki at nasunog.

Kapag may mga malalaking event especially kapag sa weekend nangyayari ay kadalasan andaming nagkakaroon ng oponion at assumption sa gagawin ng price.

Lahat ng preparations nila ay nakacenter sa gagawin ng price.

"Price will go here kaya I will do this"
"Price will go there kaya I will do that"

Most ng analysis ay nakasentro sa " What will be the possible effects of this (insert event) to the market."

If you approach trading this way kapag may mga big events or big news ay maiipit, masusunog at mawawipeout ka talaga.

Here is my tip.

Ang preparations mo ay dapat icenter mo sayo at sa reactions mo.

Lets say nagkaroon ng gyera ngayong weekend.

Ang unang paghahandaan mo ay kung paano na di ka maexcite at blindly magtrade dahil sa excitement.

How will you prevent yourself from jumpin in on a trade as the market opens?

Next, paano na hindi ka matatakot pumasok kapag may entry signal ang strategy mo pero may huge negative news.

Next, paano mo ipiprevent magrevenge trade ang self mo kapag natalo ka.

Yan ay mga examples ng mga bagay na dapat mong gawan ng preparations.

Do not prepare for what the market will do kasi di mo naman alam gagawin ni market.

Ano ka manghuhula?

You let the market do what it wants at itrade mo ang direction na trip ni market puntahan.

Hayaan mong gawin ni market ang gusto niya and trade what you see.

Prepare yourself na maging objective. Wag kang magprepare manghula.

Walang "opportunity of a lifetime ito" na mentality.

Di mo kailangan galingan. Ang kailangan mo ay pigilan ang sarili mo para gumawa ng napakarami at malalaking mistakes.

Pain and comfort.

Most traders find it easier maghold on sa losers or even mag-add (average down) sa losers kesa magride ng winners nila.

They do not understand kung bakit basta they just find it easier.

Let me tell you kung bakit.

Bihira may nag-eexplain nito so read this post slow.

Kapag nasa losing trade ka ay kinakain ka ng hope. Hope makes you feel comfortable. Down ng 50 percent ang position mo pero kapag nag-add ka ng shares at bumalik sa average price ng entry mo ay gain ka na. You hope for that to happen kaya you feel comfortable. You feel good. May nilolook forward ka.

Kapag naman gain ka na or winning ang position mo ay sobrang uncomfortable ng thought na pera na maging bato pa kaya you often close your position early para magkaemotional relief ka. As soon as binenta mo ang winning position mo kahit pa early mo naexit ay may relief ka na nararamdaman.

Comfy maghold sa losers. Comfy mag-add sa losers. Uncomfortable maghold ng winners.

You need to start accepting the uncomfortable feeling kung nais mong magkaroon ng totoong progress sa trading at eventually magsucceed.

If you keep going for comfort ay paikot-ikot lang ka lang sa trading at eventually ay either mawalan ka na ng gana at mapadecide na umayaw or mapilitan kang magquit dahil sa pagkaubos ng capital.
