LEARNING IN FOCUS: Playdough Fun! Playing with playdough is far more than just a fun, squishy activity. It's a powerhouse for development, especially for young children and those with exceptional needs!
At BIC, we know that manipulating playdough is an incredible way to strengthen fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. We encourage our students to squeeze, roll, pinch, pull, and shape the dough to build strength in the small muscles of their hands and fingers which are essential for tasks like writing, drawing, and using utensils.

LEARNING IN FOCUS: Drawing. At BIC, we encourage all our students to draw because drawing significantly supports cognitive development. When a child draws, they engage in problem-solving (how do I make this look like a cat?), spatial reasoning (where does this leg go?), and sequencing (what step comes next?). It helps them organize thoughts and understand concepts.
