Another milestone shaped by passion and purpose!

Pioneer rises as Central Luzon’s 10th Best School Paper, securing 6th place in both the Feature Page and Science Page categories.

With the unwavering guidance of Sir Ronniel Menes, Pioneer’s School Paper Adviser, and under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief (English) Kojen Bryce, this milestone was made possible. It is also a testament to the dedication of the contributors who poured their time, effort, and passion into every detail.

𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

On March 27, 2026, the Pioneer JOURNey Ceremony was held to recognize the dedication, achievements, and growth of the current batch of pioneers. The event highlighted the perseverance and commitment of each participant, celebrating the milestones they have reached throughout their JOURNey. The ceremony reflected not only individual accomplishments but also the collective spirit of courage and determination that defines this group of pioneers.

The ceremony honored pioneers whose passion, resilience, and hard work have paved the way for success. Their JOURNey demonstrates perseverance, excellence, and leadership—qualities that inspire their peers and the community. Through their dedication, they have set an example for others to follow and continue to motivate those around them to strive for greater heights.

The Pioneer JOURNey Ceremony serves as a reminder that every accomplishment is part of a larger path of growth and learning. The legacy of this batch of pioneers will continue to guide and inspire future generations. March 27, 2026, marked a celebration of achievement, excellence, and the promising future that lies ahead for each pioneer.

𝐊𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐌 | 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗢

Umaaray na ang bulsa ng mga Pilipino dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas presyo ng petrolyo. Habang patuloy ang digmaan sa Gitnang Silangan, ramdam na ramdam din ito ng mga Pilipino sa pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina. Sa bawat pagtaas nito, mas umaaray ang pang araw-araw na pamumuhay ng bawat isa.

Ayon sa mga balita, ang biglaang pagtaas ng petrolyo ay nagmula sa giyera ng Gitnang Silangan. Dahil dito, delikadong maantala ang pagdaan ng langis sa Strait of Hormuz kung saan dumadaloy dito ang humigit kumulang 20 porsyento na suplay ng langis.

Kung maaapektuhan ang rutang ito, agad agad ding magtataas ang presyo ng gasolina sa iba't ibang bansa. Una, tumataas ang presyo ng diesel, kerosene at gasolina dahil sa kakulangan ng mga suplay. Ikalawa, dagdag presyo ang mga bilihin sa pagtaas ng gasolina- na ginagamit na pangkuha ng mga produkto sa iba't ibang lugar. Ikatlo, mas malala ang magiging epekto nito sa mga bansa lalong lalo na ang Pilipinas, dahil ito ang pinagkukunan ng suplay ng langis.

Hindi man kasapi ang Pilipinas sa giyera, tila nagiging biktima na rin dulot nito. Kung patuloy na lulubha ang giyera sa Gitnang Silangan, maaaring lalo pang umaray ang bawat Pilipino na nagsusumikap para lang maitawid ang kanilang pangangailangan.

Dapat na gumawa ng mga seminars na hikayatin ang bawat isa na maging matipid sa paggamit ng kuryente at sumuporta sa mga programang nagtataguyod ng renewable energy. Maaaring magkaroon ang pamahalaan ng paghahanap ng mga alternatibong mapagkukunan ng mga enerhiya. Nang sa gayon ay makabawas sa pagtaas ng presyo ng petrolyo. Dahil ang krisis na ito ay paalala na ang digmaan sa ibang bansa ay maaaring maka-apekto sa pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay ng bawat isa, hindi lamang sa Pilipinas kundi ang lahat ng nasasakupan ng problemang ito.

Every road once promised somewhere. Markets filled with voices, windows lit with ordinary evenings, children chasing the quiet comfort of tomorrow. Now the same roads carry only echoes: the thunder of distant fire, the dust of broken homes, and the silence of those who learned too early that maps do not always lead to peace. Somewhere in the middle of the ruins, a child still walks forward clutching a small piece of softness against a world that has grown unbearably hard, hoping that if she keeps moving, one road, just one, might finally lead somewhere other than war.

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 | The House justice committee voted 22–10, with no abstentions, to set aside the first impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte for violating the one-year bar rule. Committee chair Gerville Luistro announced that the complaint filed by De Castro and others would no longer be included in the committee’s proceedings due to the breach of the one-year prohibition period.

The Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) Organization proudly celebrates its remarkable achievement at Gawad Paggabay 2026.

The organization was awarded 1st Place – Most Functional Social Media Award and 4th Place – Best Barkada Kontra Bisyo Implementer, recognizing its dedication to creating impactful, informative, and engaging platforms that truly serve the school community.

These honors reflect the hard work, commitment, and teamwork of every member behind the scenes. Through purposeful campaigns and meaningful initiatives, BKB continues to guide, inspire, and empower students.

I loved you in the ordinary ways. Late-night calls. Inside jokes. Making space for you in my plans without even thinking about it. I thought love meant building forward… next month, next year, next life. You were part of everything I imagined, and I never questioned that you’d be there.

It wasn’t until the hospital hallway and the quiet voices that I understood why you held my hand longer than usual. Why your smiles felt careful. I had been planning a future while you were learning how little of it you had left. By the time I realizedwhat was happening, I was no longer loving you in the present, I was memorizing you before you were gone.
