In line with the observance of Fire Prevention Month, the MDRRMO Maripipi, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), conducted the “BIDA KA FIRE SQUARE ROADSHOW” on March 16, 2026 at the Municipal Evacuation Facility.

Grade 6 pupils of Bato-Banlas Elementary School, together with their teacher actively participated in this meaningful activity designed to strengthen disaster preparedness among the youth. Through interactive learning stations, the learners were trained in Basic Firefighting, Bandaging and Splinting, Lifting and Moving Techniques, Victim Packaging, CPR and FBAO, and Rappelling.

This initiative empowered our young learners with valuable life-saving skills and knowledge in emergency response, helping build a safer and more prepared community.

The Maripipi Municipal Health Office, in partnership with the Biliran Provincial Health Office, conducted a Urine Screening Activity at Bato-banlas Elementary School in celebration of World Kidney Month.

This meaningful health initiative was headed by Dr. Regel Shegleen Valmoja, together with the dedicated staff from the Maripipi Infirmary Health Care Facility and the PHO Biliran Province, aiming to promote early detection and awareness of kidney health among learners.
Our heartfelt appreciation to the medical team for bringing essential health services closer to the community and helping ensure the well-being of our learners.

🌟🧑‍🏫Happy Teacher's Day🌟🧑‍🏫

A beautiful celebration indeed! Bato-Banlas Elementary School celebrated Teacher's Day together with the teaching and non-teaching staff of Binalayan Elementary School, Canduhao Elementary School, Casibang Elementary School, Maripipi Central School, and Viga Elementary School at Candol Beach to honor the hard work, love, and dedication of our beloved teachers.

The day was filled with laughter and fun - from exciting parlor games, to heartwarming singing, and lively dancing that showcased the talents and teamwork of our teachers! This is a well-deserved break for our hardworking mentors who give their best every single day to nurture young hearts and minds.

Bato-Banlas Elementary School successfully conducted the BSP/GSP Kick-Off and Clean-Up Drive, which began with a parade and followed by the recitation of the Scout Oath and Law.

With this, we sincerely extend our gratitude to the Barangay Officials of Bato and Banlas, Barangay Tanod of Bato and Banlas, BNS/BHW of Bato and Banlas, 4P’s of Bato and Banlas, stakeholders, private individuals, pupils, and teachers of Bato-Banlas for their invaluable support and active participation in this meaningful activity.
