MARIPIPI, Biliran โ Maripipi National Vocational School (MNVS) officially launched its Oplan Balik Eskwela and Brigada Eskwela 2026 on Day 1 with an opening program that gathered school personnel, parents, students, government agencies, and community stakeholders in a shared commitment to prepare the school for the upcoming School Year 2026โ2027.
The program, hosted by Mr. Bernardo G. Biag as the Toastmaster of the Ceremony, commenced with a lively presentation by the Golden Marchers Band and Lyre Corps, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, an opening prayer, and the school hymn. The activities set a positive tone for the annual initiative that promotes community participation in ensuring a safe, clean, and learner-friendly school environment.
In his welcome message, School Principal Engr. Dexter D. Enage expressed his appreciation to the stakeholders who continuously support the programs and activities of the school. He emphasized the importance of collective effort and partnership in achieving quality education and ensuring school readiness for the opening of classes.
Messages of support were also delivered by Mrs. Margarita Nadua, representing the PTA President, and Mrs. Salvacion M. Canonoy, Department Head of the Facilitative Department of MNVS and Chairperson of the Maripipi Multipurpose Cooperative representing the private sector. Both speakers reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the school's initiatives and contributing to the success of Oplan Balik Eskwela and Brigada Eskwela.
A pledge of commitment was subsequently led by Mr. Marianito R. Salipot, wherein participants pledged their support and active involvement in the implementation of the school's programs and activities. Following the pledge, the mechanics of Brigada Eskwela and the procedures for Oplan Balik Eskwela and Enrollment were presented and discussed, providing stakeholders with essential information regarding the conduct of the activities, enrollment processes, and the various ways they can contribute to the school's preparation for the incoming academic year.
The program concluded with closing remarks delivered by Mrs. Felina Mendoza, Department Head of the TVE Department, who expressed her gratitude to all participants and partners for their unwavering support. She encouraged everyone to continue fostering the spirit of volunteerism, cooperation, and shared responsibility in promoting quality education and learner welfare.
After the closing program, stakeholders participated in the Commitment Wall Signing, symbolizing their collective dedication and support for the successful implementation of Oplan Balik Eskwela and Brigada Eskwela 2026.
Among those present during the opening activities were personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), parents, teachers, students, and other community partners, all demonstrating the spirit of bayanihan that remains at the heart of Brigada Eskwela.
The successful conduct of the Day 1 activities highlighted the strong collaboration among stakeholders and reinforced MNVS's commitment to providing accessible, inclusive, and quality education for every learner as preparations for the new school year continue.
