Make Way, Freshmen PDMians is on the Way! 🥁🩷

With the sound of festive drums, the Freshmen Orientation took place earlier today, June 16, in the PDM Gymnasium. Making the orientation special for the new addition of students were the presence of the Municipal Mayor, Mayor Atty. Jem Sy together with Board Member William Villarica; Vice Mayor Ariel Amador; Coun. Luisa Silvestre; and Coun. Vanessa Valdez.

Along with the orientation of the services and responsibilities of the students, each freshmen received school supplies from the Municipality of Marilao showing the continuous support of the Local Government Unit.

All set for tomorrow, the freshmen from different programs are now ready to enter this new chapter of their academic journey!

From Enrollment to Employment: Bridging Dreams to Careers

The Guidance Counseling Office, headed by Mr. Kim Carlo Balboa and in partnership with the Health Services Office (HSO), conducted this year’s Career Day for the Graduating Candidates of 2026 last April 15, 2026, in the PDM Gymnasium.

The Graduating Batch of 2026 was given Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Employability Enhancement lecture from HR Experts at Solaire Resorts and Casino and PwC (Isla Lipana & Co.)

Showing their support, our Municipal Mayor, Mayor Atty. Jemina Sy and Vice Mayor Ariel Amador graced the event and shared their inspirational message with the students.

Similarly, the Office of Co-Curricular Affairs and PESO Marilao extended their unwavering support.

Finally, Career Day 2026 was made more meaningful with the presence of the One Stop-Shop, where services and assistance from the following Government and Non-Government Organizations (NGO) were provided to the students:

1. PSA
2. NBI
3. SSS
4. Philhealth
5. KADEBU - Kapisanan ng mga Dentista ng Bulacan
6. RHU 1 and RHU 2 for free blood typing and blood sugar count
7. Damayang Filipino Movement for basic medical kit

Preparing for a world where our graduates become responsible and successful citizens, PDM, through the GCO and HSO, ensures they are equipped and ready to take on this new chapter of employment.
