Fun fact: Pi Day is celebrated every year on March 14 (3/14) because the date matches the first three digits of the mathematical constant π (3.14). The celebration was first organized in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. It began as a fun activity where people walked in circles and ate pies to honor the number π. In 2009, the United States House of Representatives officially recognized Pi Day as a national celebration. Today, students and math enthusiasts around the world celebrate Pi Day by learning about mathematics, solving puzzles, and enjoying pie. 🥧🔢
