- my first book of hers! I got to know about this author because of Erin Phillips ✟ Fantasy Author.
And got lucky because an indie book seller here in PH happens to have it for only less than $3!

- recently released and got the opportunity to read and review it. Highly recommended!
It looks so much prettier in person!

This book made me giggle like a schoolgirl — or as we Filipinos say, nakakakilig! 😍

My love for Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice began with the 2005 movie (yes, Matthew Macfadyen’s hand flex lives rent‑free in my head 🫶). That film led me to read the original novel and hunt down every tv show and movie adaptation I could find. So when announced a P&P‑inspired story set against Korean history — and opened ARC applications — I signed up immediately!

And guess what? This book did not disappoint. 🥰 It felt like watching a k‑drama on the page: swoony, whimsical, and impossible to put down. The characters were vivid, the emotions heartfelt, and the story left me wanting more.

This is one of those books you can’t put down, yet you don’t want it to end. Erin’s writing always leaves me in awe — the emotions feel so real, and the crew of the Canard Chanceux has completely stolen my heart. 💙

Continuing Eden’s journey even made me want to revisit The Count of Monte Cristo, the inspiration shines through beautifully.

An adventure at sea, sprinkled with romance, and packed with “who can I trust?” moments… this series is shaping up to be unforgettable. 🌊⚓📖
