The Senior High School TVL and TechPro Month, anchored on the theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, transformed Nutrition Month 2026 into a vibrant celebration of health, culture, creativity, and innovation.

Through the Poster-Making Contest at the NLRC, students from different strands produced original artworks promoting proper nutrition, food security, and environmental stewardship, while the Food Expo: Taste of the Philippines allowed Grade 11 Culinary and Tourism students and Grade 12 TVL-HE learners to showcase Filipino cuisine and demonstrate their competence in food preparation, presentation, teamwork, hospitality, and service. These meaningful activities strengthened learners’ confidence, creativity, cultural appreciation, and sense of responsibility, empowering them to become advocates for healthy living and environmental care.

Its impact extends throughout the NCLC community by encouraging learners, faculty members, families, and stakeholders to embrace nutritious food choices, support local food traditions, reduce waste, and adopt environmentally responsible practices. Sustainability will be strengthened by integrating nutrition education, food security, responsible consumption, and environmental stewardship into classroom instruction, skills training, student-led projects, and future school programs. With the continuing support of the Hospitality and Tourism Advisers and the entire NCLC community, this celebration serves as a springboard for developing competent, compassionate, and future-ready professionals committed to building healthier communities and a more sustainable tomorrow.
