NCLC 5-DAY SUMMIT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE SEMINAR-WORKSHOP 2026

For five meaningful and productive days, the teaching and non-teaching staff of NCLC came together for a transformative Summit and Quality Assurance Seminar-Workshop in preparation for School Year 2026–2027.

The seminar-workshop focused on strengthening academic excellence, operational effectiveness, and continuous school improvement through collaborative planning, reflection, and strategic alignment.

Day 1 and Day 2 highlighted departmental presentations and the SWOT Analysis of the school’s annual operations. Both teaching and non-teaching departments presented their accomplishments, identified strengths and areas for improvement, addressed operational challenges, and proposed strategic action plans aligned with the institution’s vision, mission, and quality assurance goals.

Day 3 centered on instructional leadership and academic quality assurance. Faculty members engaged in vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment, quarterly assessment planning, summative test construction, Table of Specifications (TOS), and Project-Based Learning (PBL) design to ensure standards-based, learner-centered, and competency-aligned instruction.

Day 4 focused on operational excellence, safe and supportive school practices, student services, guidance support, classroom monitoring systems, and collaborative decision-making processes that promote accountability, professionalism, and a positive learning environment.

Day 5 culminated in strategic planning, commitment setting, and goal alignment for SY 2026–2027. Departments finalized action plans, quality assurance targets, and operational priorities to ensure that all programs and services remain responsive, effective, and Christ-centered.

This 5-day summit and seminar-workshop stand as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the NCLC community to academic excellence, Christian character formation, quality assurance, and holistic development.

With grateful hearts, we sincerely thank our School Administrator, Ma’am Kirsten Michelle T. Ferriol, and our Principal, Dr. Resa R. PestaΓ±o, for their visionary leadership, wisdom, and steadfast dedication in guiding the institution toward excellence and continuous improvement.

Together, the NCLC teaching and non-teaching staff remain united in purposeβ€”serving with integrity, growing in excellence, and nurturing lives for the glory of God.

With hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving to God, we celebrate the successful conclusion of the National School Leaders Congress and National Teachers Congress 2026. Truly, the event became a meaningful and enriching experience that strengthened educators and school leaders in their commitment to excellence, innovation, and academic quality assurance.

Anchored on the theme, β€œGod-Taught Generation: Becoming Bold on the Road to Gold” (Isaiah 54:13), the NSLC/NTC 2026 reminded us of our calling to nurture learners who are academically competent, morally grounded, spiritually formed, and globally preparedβ€”aligned with the mission and vision of National Christian Life College, Inc.

The congress highlighted the importance of Academic Quality Assurance through discussions on curriculum alignment, standards-based assessment, instructional leadership, socio-emotional learning, and learner-centered practices. These valuable insights will greatly strengthen classroom instruction, curriculum implementation, and continuous school improvement as we prepare for the incoming school year.

We proudly commend our NCLC teachers and leaders who actively participated in the various parallel sessions and workshops, reflecting the institution’s culture of lifelong learning and professional excellence.

NCLC was honorably represented by our dedicated speakers:

Dr. Resa R. PestaΓ±o, School Principal, who served as SHS Parallel Session Speaker on the Strengthened SHS Curriculum and PEAC CAI Instrument 2024;
Ms. Alpha Joy Gonzaga, Kindergarten Department Head, who shared her expertise on Assessment Tools in Kindergarten; and
Ms. Yumi Nabana, NCLC Guidance Advocate, who discussed the importance of Socio-Emotional Learning in the Curriculum.

Thank you for representing our institution with excellence, competence, and integrity.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our school leaders for their unwavering guidance and support:

Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, School President
Dr. Leticia S. Ferriol, School Directress
Arlet Joy F. Guerrero, EDCOM Chairwoman
Bishop Samuel Ferriol, Spiritual Director
Kirsten T. Ferriol, School Administrator
Dr. Resa R. PestaΓ±o, School Principal

We are especially grateful for the inspiring Directress Hour led by Dr. Leticia S. Ferriol, which renewed our vision, strengthened our purpose, and reminded us of our calling as Christian educators.

Indeed, the NSLC/NTC 2026 has equipped our teachers and school leaders with relevant knowledge, practical strategies, and renewed inspiration toward quality Christian education and continuous academic excellence.

To God be all the glory!
