So happy to see the progress of Homer! For the past sessions he has been struggling with double bass, but know he can already manage to play it with fill ins, which is kinda hard.

Even he is in his mid 30s, he still chooses to learn and have fun on the drums! Age is not a hindrance to learn!

Here is one part of my Japan trip, and I've visited one of their famous drum store in Osaka. This is 池部楽器店 Drum Station.

I was so overwhelm on the drums that I've seen. From snares, cymbals, sticks, edrums, and the list goes on, and I was like a kid inside a toy store and didn't know what to pick and play!

I just want to share with you my experience in their store!

Jeff has successfully finish the 11 session drum program! For his last sessiom, he has learned how to play song using drum notes!

Might be wondering why he only learned it later on. Because I usually teach proper body coordination first sessions so that your body can get use to playing drums. Once you got the hang of it playing with notes would be easier.

Even at his 40s he still manage to learn and play drums! Age doesn't matter!

In this video I will share with you how Recording drums in a professional studio would like.
It seems easier to look but it takes a lot of time effort and skills just to Record a song. From setup to recording the actual part of the song. Every detail is being analyzed to catch the perfect sound and part for the song.

This is the first face to face guitar tutorial here at the studio! Before being a drummer, guitar was the first instrument that Ive learned.
Teaching guitar is a good challenge for me because most of the time I do drums. Teaching keenan also is helping learn more about the guitar. Fun but challenging!

For this mornings session, David and Miggy are learning how to do drum fills. Yes they already learn the basic fills but this time around ive have challenged them to do 16th note in the level!
Both of them were challenged on the fill in example on "Fill in the Groove" by Jim Toscano. Great material for drum fills.
Both of them may have had a hard time but both of them had a fun great time learning together
