On this day, we honor and commemorate the legacy of Benigno Simeón "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., a former senator who served as an inspiration for Filipinos in steering the country towards a brighter future. 🇵🇭

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?
Because of his hectic lifestyle, Benigno Simeon "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. was referred to as the Young Man in a Hurry by those who knew him well. Public officials were already interested in Ninoy at the age of 17 because of his accomplishments. In fact, Ninoy caused a stir as he continued to be a fierce opponent of the Marcos government's excesses. Ninoy held fast to his convictions despite being imprisoned and living in self-exile until his eventual passing.

May we carry on his legacy and embody his patriotism in our own unique ways. ✨

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government extends its sincere congratulations to the students elected through the Marisci SSLG Special Elections!

The positions elected during the Special Elections are the Vice President, Secretary, and Grade 7 Level Representative. Meanwhile, the Grade 12 Level Representative shall be appointed in accordance with Article X, Section 1.2 of the Learner Government Election and Appointment Code.

Your election reflects the trust and the calling of the student body in your ability to serve with integrity, responsibility, and commitment. May this opportunity inspire you to lead with purpose, serve with dedication, and work together in building a stronger, more empowered, and more united school community.

Following two weeks of dedicated preparation, MariScians exercised their right to vote last July 24 for the SSLG Special Elections 2026.

After the careful supervision of the Electoral Board and the meticulous tabulation and canvassing of ballots, the LGCOMEA officially releases the UNOFFICIAL results and vote tally for the SSLG Elections 2026.

The filing of grievances regarding the election will be accommodated on July 28, 2026 until 5:00 PM.

The Grade 12 Level Representative Nominations are now OPEN.

We are now accepting nominations for students who possess the integrity, dedication, and leadership needed to represent the Grade 12 community. If you know someone who is committed to serving others, advocating for the batch, and leading with responsibility, now is the time to recognize them. Your nomination could be the first step toward meaningful leadership.

Leadership begins with the willingness to make a difference. Make yours today by nominating someone who is ready to lead with purpose and serve the Grade 12 community.

Note: Due to the lack of candidates who are willing to run for the Grade 12 Level Representative, it has been decided by the LG-COMEA to open the position for nominations. The nominees will be passed accordingly to the Commisioner on Appointments, and the representative deemed fit will be appointed to the position. As the unofficial list of candidates for Marisci SSLG Special Elections have been presented, the pre-election grievance will now open.

In this period, we invite every bonafide Marisci student to place a formal complaint of a transgression made by a candidate that they are aware of. This will serve as a finalization process for identifying the accepted and official candidates for the said election.

The period will last only until July 16, 2026 until 10:00 AM and all grievance complaints must be submitted to Ma'am Virginia T. Jaralve, Commissioner on Grievances.
