KEEPING OUR CHILDREN SAFE: A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As part of our continuing efforts to strengthen the safety and well-being of our learners, we respectfully ask for your partnership at home.
We encourage every family to take these simple but important preventive measures:
• Check your child’s school bag and belongings before they leave for school and make sure that no prohibited or potentially dangerous items are brought to campus.
• If your household has fi****ms or other weapons, please ensure that these are properly secured, locked, and stored in a place that is inaccessible to children.
• Maintain open communication with your children and be attentive to any concerns or changes in their behavior.
• Be aware of the games, apps, social media platforms, and online content your children access, as well as the people they communicate with online.
• Remind your children to avoid engaging with online conversations or content involving threats, violence, weapons, or other harmful activities, and to immediately inform a parent, guardian, teacher, or trusted adult if they encounter anything concerning.
• Encourage your children to immediately report bullying, threats, suspicious behavior, prohibited items, or any situation that may affect their safety or the safety of others.
These reminders are not meant to cause alarm, but to strengthen our culture of awareness, prevention, responsibility, and care. A simple bag check, responsible storage of potentially dangerous items, proper supervision of online activities, and regular conversations with our children can make a meaningful difference.
The school will continue to do its part in strengthening security measures, student awareness, guidance, and safety programs. With the cooperation of our parents, students, school personnel, and community partners, we can help provide a safer and more caring environment for all our learners.
Thank you for your continued cooperation, trust, and partnership.
